truth hurts

"That was amazing." Kiel said when I came back after the shoot with Jughead. I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks!"

After that we decided to practice our script.

I am just staring at him while he's reading his line. I don't want to hurt Kiel anymore. He deserves someone better. I don't want to give him false hope anymore.

"What?" He asked chuckling while looking at me. I shrugged and he laughed. "Damn it. You're making me more curious!"

"Uhh...it's nothing. I'm just appreciating you. You're a good person." I said and he stayed quiet looking at me.

"I don't know if that's a good thing or not." He said looking at me and I laughed.

"It is." We continued with our script reading.

"We have a kiss scene here in this part." He said as he is pointing it on the script and I almost choked, "Really. That fast?"

"Yeah. Then you'll break up with me." He said like he already sense it. Like he mean it in real life. I looked at him and I can see the changed in his facial expression.

I coughed. "Really?" I said laughing. I looked at him and bite my lips.

"Is he...is he gonna be okay?" I asked referring to himself if he's going to be okay after we stopped dating. I don't even know if we're still talking about the script or what. Somehow, our characters in the series fit our lives at the moment.

"I think so...he realized she's still in love with someone else. So no matter what he do, he can't be with her if her heart is already occupied." He replied to me. I looked away. This is so serious. I am now using the script to fan myself awkwardly.

"And they're still friends even after that?" I asked curiously because I want to know if we can still work together without involving our personal issues.

"I don't really know. Maybe, he cannot. How could he? He cannot forget her if he's still friends with her." He looked at me before saying it.

"Oh. Okay." I just looked at each other. We remained silent after that. Oh my gosh. It's so awkward?

"Are we still talking about the script or what?" I said laughing nervously trying to make the atmosphere light.

He looked at me and smiled. "Of course. It's about the script." He said changing the subject. But I think, he already noticed that I am not going to say yes to him. I hate myself because even I don't know what's going on with me at the moment. But I want to be honest first with myself and then I'll figure it out.

I am going to start with Kiel.

"Kiel!" I called him and knock on his van after the shooting. He opened his window and looked at me curiously, "Why?"

"Are you free this weekend?" I asked. And he just nod like he already knows what is it all about.

"Is it about what we talked about?" He said trying to smile a little but I can sense that he's kinda hurt.

"I'm...I'm sorry." I said looking down and he just smiled at me and tap my head like a puppy.

He chuckled, "Don't be. Last dinner is it. I'll pick you up?" I am trying to smile but I hate seeing him sad. He's my friend.

"Am I mean? I gave you hope because I think I am ready to date again." I asked him as we are now sitting on our table. I just told him everything. That I am still confused and not ready because I still have remaining feelings for my ex.
