Wolf's bane

(Ok so I'm changing the time line of when Kate beats up Derek in his house because I have a great scene planned for around that time so bear with me.)
Drina POV
     Allison and I went to school chatting about random stuff when I saw my brother and Scott.
"I'll see you later." I said running off to catch up with them.
"So what happened last night?"
"Hello to you too dear sister."
"Hello dear brother and trusted friend. Happy now?"
I said doing a dramatic bow.
"Yes and well things last night happened. He got out but came back. And I don't think killed anyone." Stiles said looking at Scott.
"Ok that's good!" I ran off to find Jackson cause I gotta talk to him.
"Jackson!" I said running up to him and some lacrosse and swim team guys.
I was just in leggings and a hoodie today so I could tell they were looking at my ass, as they walked away.
"What's up?"
"What is really going on with the scratch marks on your neck? Danny texted saying you ran out of class and then went to the hospital."
He signed and pulled me to a class room.
"I can trust you right?"
"Of course. Always."
"Ok. Derek Hale scratched me and I've been seeing some weird stuff that isn't real. well I think they aren't real. Anyway I think he's a werewolf or something like that."
"What! Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I'm almost positive."
"Ok what are you going to do?"
"I don't know yet. I'm still collecting facts but don't tell anyone. You are sworn to secrecy."
"Got it." We did our secret handshake that we came up with when we were 10.
We shake hands then fist bump, high five, and I jump on his back.
As I said we were 10.
I went to class and everything to see Lydia and Allison by our lockers talking about...
"What's up ladies?"
"Jackson broke up with me."
"Oh ow sorry Lydia."
"It's fine. He said he's going to be making some big changes and he's dropping some dead weight."
"Yeah that's wrong."
"Looks like he didn't drop you." She said with a undescribable voice tone, turning to me at my locker.
"He didn't drop me because we made a promise that we would never drop each other for any reason."
"Uh huh sure. Then how come I saw you coming out of the class room with him?"
"We were talking."
"Yeah sure. You're the reason for him dumping me!" She slammed the lockers and stormed off. Ok that happened.
"I'll talk to her." Allison said as she went after her.

School finally ended and I headed to Derek's house to see more cars there than usual. Oh boy.
I went to a window to look in but couldn't see much before someone grabbed me and I screamed. Dad taught me when in doubt  scream. It brings attention to whatever is happening. ( True facts)
A hunter brought me into the house, I see Derek on the floor and Kate there with a gun. Knew I had a weird feeling about her.
"Oh hey Drina! What are you doing here?"
" You know I was out for a walk and saw more cars than usual and being a police kid I was curious."

"Uh huh. Open her bag." One of her henchmen took my satchel and pulled out my med kit and notebook.

"Blah blah blah Kanima healing stuff, So you're teaching her stuff. Too bad I already know this. I'll let you keep the book." She handed it back to her henchmen and he put it back in my bag.
"Question Derek. Who is she to you? Friend? Protege? Maybe little sister?"
She grabbed my arm and held it up. coming closer to me she whispered something in my ear.

"You know I read that story about you. I wonder is he's still alive. The article didn't say. I'll find out for you."
I felt my heart beat rising with stress and a little fear.
"How about I remind you what happens to those who get close to you Derek." She takes her knife and cuts a line down my arm, I scream in pain and her henchmen threw me to the ground.
"Let's go. Bye Derek." She said as she and her Minions got in their cars and drive away.
Derek got up, grabbed my bag, picked me up and brought me up to his room where he started treating my cut.

"I can wrap it myself." I said quietly.
"I know but it's a little difficult when it's on you cause you only got one hand."
I chuckled and nodded.
"Hey I know what you're thinking about. Don't let her in your head."
"What werewolves are telepaths now?"
"No. But I know that you're thinking about what she said. God kept you alive for a reason. And I made a promise to keep you safe and that's what I'm going to do."
"Yeah. Have you read that article? It made state news because I'm a Sheriff's daughter and he was a nationality known bad guy."
"Not the whole thing. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"No I want to. It's one of those memories that is burned in my head.(warning! Kinda dark)
"I was 7, it was late July a friend and I had snuck out to go climb trees because we made a goal to climb every tree in beacon hills Reserve before school started. We were heading home when I saw him. He had a white shirt on and black sweat pants and no shoes, with a look of crazy and thrill of the hunt in his eyes. We ran but he was fast. Theo tried to fight him off but we were 7 and small. He knocked Theo out, threw me over his shoulder and took me to the tunnels under the water treatment plant to a room with about 20-25 girls of all ages. He threw me on the ground and on the wall was a list of the girls names and he added mine as I sat there in fear. The girls told me it was a list of who he was going do next. We were there for two weeks with nothing but the sounds of screams and cries filling our ears. I almost made it without being touched, but they were a day late. My dad found me bound at the wrists and ankles to the bed covered in blood and bruises." I stopped and looked at Derek who had tears in his eyes.
"Your mother was there. I remember her carrying me out wrapped in a blanket. She was talking to me calmly in German.She did what you are doing now."
I saw his veins turning black and I felt the pain go away.
"We can take pain from animals, supernaturals and humans. My mom told me about you. Before she died she asked me that if I came back to beacon hills to find you and take care of you. She said that you're an honorary Hale."
"The blanket I still have, has the same symbol as your tattoo. What is it?"
"It's the Hale pack symbol. The three spirals mean Alpha Beta Omega. She said she made you a Hale when she gave you the blanket."
"I remember seeing her as I was at school and dance,almost every day then I didn't and I heard that Hale house burned. I went to the memorial and saw her picture."
"She told me that she felt a connection with you almost a supernatural connection that she couldn't explain. Like the one I felt. That's your gift Drina. Broken people connect with you and you fix them and help them."
I had tears in my eyes but I saw him get up and grab something from a box in the floor.
"I found this when I got back with a note saying give to Drina Hale. I didn't understand it at first but I do now."
He handed me a charm bracelet with the Hale triskele on it.
"It's beautiful."
"She wanted you to know that you are loved. By more people than you know. When you wear this all packs will know what pack you are apart of and protected by."
" Thank you." I said with tears in my eyes and he pulled me into a hug.
