Tonight we have a lacrosse game against uhh I don't remember the school but I do remember that they have a player that is bigger than Derek. He's like the hulk.
I was in my free period so I decided to clean my locker and change out pictures. I put a picture Allison, Lydia and I took at the winter formal in my locker next to the one I have of dad Stiles and I from our trip to Disney Land. I took out some papers that I just threw in there and put them in the trash I dragged over.
"It's locker day for Drina?" I turned and saw Matt holding a picture.
"Yeah I got time to kill and it's something I've been putting off."
He took a magnet and put the picture he was holding in my locker.
"When did you take that?" I asked in shock. The picture was me treating Lydia at the winter formal. My hair was a little messy but the angle and lighting was amazing, I had a determined look on my face along with concern and the ambulance lights were behind me as it had pulled up.
"I take pictures when the moment is perfect. That moment was perfect for you. You were in your element. Helping those you care about." He said looking at me with caring eyes.
"Wow. Thanks." I said looking at him with a smile.
"Hey what does your charm mean?"
He said pointing to the Hale triskele on my bracelet.
"A friend gave it to me. The spiral means strength, beauty, and brains. Kinda me in a nutshell." I said with a smile. Man that was my best lie yet.
"Cool. Hey what are you doing after school today?"
"Wanna go on a proper date?"
"Are you asking me out?"
"Yes. If I'm allowed to ask the sheriff's daughter out."
"Haha you are but I can't tonight. I have to go to the lacrosse game. Actually so do you."
He chuckled smiling.
"Yeah I know I meant maybe this weekend say Sunday?"
"I'll check my calendar and let you know."
"Great. See you later." He said running off. He's sweet but my spidey sense is going off a little bit.
After school I went home to change for the game and by change I mean grab a jacket. I walked into my room to see a leather jacket with red a purple swirls all around it with a note in the pocket.
"All Hales need at least one leather jacket. :) D.H" I read in Derek's hand writing.
With a smile on my face I put it on and looked at myself in the mirror. I feel kinda badass. I forgot I left my door open because dad leaned against the door letting out a whistle.
"Wow. That's a pretty good jacket."
"Thanks. Derek gave it to me."
"Derek Hale? I didn't know you were friends."
"Yeah we are. Are you coming to the game tonight?"
I asked turning around to him.
"Uh no I got work. I just came to grab  a new toothbrush for the station." He said holding one of his spare toothbrushes.
"Cool beans."
"Drina let's go!" I heard my brother yell from downstairs.
"Auf  Wiedersehen Väter." I said kissing dad's cheek and running downstairs to the Jeep.
We got to the school and headed to the lacrosse field, I took out my camera and started walking in front of them.
"Smile guys!" I said walking and recording. I moved my camera around to see the hulk.
My God is he even a teenager?
"Really hope that guy doesn't body slam me in the goal." Danny said coming up next to me.
"Let's hope. Maybe one of you can knock him out."
"When  did my little Drina get dark? Are you feeling ok?" He said placing the back of his hand on my forehead.
"I'm fine just don't want anyone dying tonight."
"Yeah. Only they are going to die tonight." Jackson came up on my other side looking at the hulk through my camera.
"Exactly." Danny and I said together before I changed my camera off video and turned it to us taking a selfie.
"Another one for the locker. Ok go win." I said kissing their cheeks and running to the bleachers.
About half way through the game Stiles and I headed to the principal's office to find the book but Stiles stopped and talked to Lydia who was crying in her car.
So I took the keys and went inside but it wasn't here.
I texted Allison saying it wasn't here.
I went to leave when Erika came and told me that Derek was waiting in the pool area with Stiles.
"Why are you holding my brother hostage?" I asked as Erika and I entered the room.
"We need to find out what your brother saw at the mechanics. What did you see?"
Derek said as I went and stood next to him.
"It was a dark green with scales and a tail... Why have you seen it too?!" Stiles said noticing us looking above him at the giant lizard.
It came down and cut the back of Derek's neck and Erika's neck paralyzing both of them. I ran and pulled Erika into the hallway and looked back and what's happening.
"Drina do you see that? I don't think it can swim." Stiles yelled from the water holding Derek. I looked in and saw that it was circling around the pool looking afraid of the water.
"Stiles you better not leave me paralyzed in 10ft of water." Derek said as he saw Stiles come up with an idea.
"It's 7ft Derek! Stop being such a drama queen." I shouted at him before grabbing my phone to call Scott.
"Drina I can't talk right." Scott said hanging up on me.
"He hung up on me." I said in shock looking at Erika.
Stiles tried calling Scott and got him.
"Ok I think I'm getting my feeling back. Help me up." Erika said as I helped her stand up for us to see the lizard run out the window.
"What was that thing?"

"It's called a Kanima."
Derek said walking up to Scott Stiles and I by the Jeep.
"The one with paralytic venom." I said with realization.
"Exactly."
"I don't think it knows what it it. It seemed shocked when it saw its reflection."
Scott said with a thinking look on his face.
"Derek if we want to catch this thing we need to work together."
