Drina POV

Dad's going on a date!
Right now Scott, Stiles and I are in his office getting him ready for his date.
He's in a nice shirt and tie with slacks and a blazer.
It's not bad, you know for a dad...

"Ugh I should have gotten a haircut." Dad says looking in the mirror.
"Dad you look fine, for your age." I said with a smile fixing his tie.
"Well, you know someone your age should be happy you still have hair to cut." Stiles says which causes dad to just look at his twins.
"Well I think you look great." Scott says and dad smiles at him.
"Thank you child I should have had. Oh what the hell am I doing? This is a terrible idea." Dad says now regretting.
"Oy. Dad it's one date." I said as Stiles caught him from going back to his desk.
"The town of Beacon Hills won't implode while you're out with one woman. Or man."
Stiles says and I just sighed.
"It's a woman Stiles."
"Ok."
"A very beautiful woman."
"What beautiful woman by the way?" Stiles asked and all 3 of us look at dad with smiles.
"None of your business. Any of you." Dad returns the smile.

I chuckled and took my heart shaped compact mirror back and put it in my bag as one of the prisoners is being taken to the van when he shouts.
"Stilinski! Stilinski! I'm going to kill you."
I put my leather jacket back on over my dark blue dress and silver leggings with boots and flipped my layered medium length hair out before going to see what's wrong.
"Donovan, if you think that shocks me, remember it was well-documented in your Anger Expression Inventory. Deputies, escort the prisoner out."
Donovan the little delinquent in cuffs looks at us and says these morbid words.
"I'm not angry like I'm gonna throw a brick through your window. I'm angry, like I'm going to find you, I'm going to get a knife and I'm going to stab you with it until you're dead. And when you look at me and you ask me why, remember right now. Because this is why."
I chuckled with a little laugh standing next to my brother.
"Wow. That was awesome." Stiles says.
"Yeah bro it really was. We do one more? Give us another one, maybe like Christopher Walken this time?" I said.
"You know. Okay, you know what? It's fine. You'll have plenty of time to work on it when you're in your tiny, little cell, you know. Just stuck there, forever." My brother and I said together pulling off our classic twin talk that freaks people out.
Donovan smirked and made a break to hit us but Parrish and Maya held him back and took him to the van.

"What the hells an Anger expression inventory?" Scott asks looking at all of us.
"It's a test you take when you're applying to become a deputy." I said playing with my necklace.
"That guy wanted to be a cop?" Scott asks shocked.
"Yep "
"At least now he's getting the full law enforcement experience." Stiles says as dad and I go in the office and I grab my bag.
"Going out with Brett tonight?" Dad asks with a smile.
"Yeah, we're going to meet for dinner. It's the first night off I've had in a while."
"You know honey, I was thinking. Maybe talk to Melissa about not taking as many shifts this year. It's your senior year Drina, you should have plenty of time to live your fun life, not spend all of it at a hospital. Just think about it. Ok love?"
I nodded. "Ok dad." I kissed his cheek.
"Have fun tonight with your mystery woman."
He smiled."you too."
With that I left getting on my bike and riding to my house and saw him sitting on the porch.
I got off my bike and went to him.
"Hi" he kisses me standing up.
"Hi." I kissed back. "Were you waiting long? I'm sorry I was helping my dad get ready for a date and then there was this kid being taken to jail.." he cuts me off by pulling me into a kiss holding me around my waist as I kissed back.
We stayed this way for a little bit before breaking for air.
"W what was that for?"  I asked looking up at him.
"That was me telling you to relax my love. You're giving off all sorts of stress pheromones."
"I am?"
He simply nodded. "Now come inside. I didn't make us dinner but I did order your favorite Chinese and put it in fancy dishes."
I smiled with a little laugh and kissed him before going inside with him and saw a little candlelit table set up at the dining room table which is normally covered with case files and dirty coffee mugs.
"How'd you do this?' I asked setting my bag on the hall bench and my jacket on it as well before fully walking in as he lit the candles.
"Your dad told me where the spare key under the dragon is in the backyard."
"Awe." I smiled sitting at the table as he poured my favorite sparkling pear cider into a glass and sat down.
"Brett what's all this for?" I asked as he held up his stem glass.
"One year ago today, we met at the scrimmage lacrosse game and you saved my life. That is when I knew I loved you and I've been in love ever since." He says with a loving smile as I lifted my stem glass to his.
"Here's to us and whatever our future may hold." He says and we clink our glasses taking a sip.
I smiled taking a sip and looked at him.
"I love you. You're one of the few lights in this dark town."
"And I shine brighter for you. So that you will always find your way home." As Brett says this he slides a box to me and opens it revealing a North star necklace made of amethyst and rose quartz on a gold chain.
I smiled in awe and held it up.
"It's beautiful Brett. I didn't even know it was our anniversary, I would have gotten you something." I said looking at him and he simply smiled.
"Your love and kindness is the only gift I want."
"I love you." I said looking at him as I put the necklace on so it lays lower than the shorter paw print necklace I have on.
"I love you too."
I smiled and ate some of the food as we talked about random stuff till desert which apparently is 1 slice of red velvet cake our favorite.
"My dad wants me to start taking lesser shifts at the hospital." I said taking a little bite of the cake with my fork.
"Is it bad I agree with him?" Brett said looking at me.
"Depends. Why do you? Besides you want my dad to like you which given he let you do all this, means he does." I smiled.
"I agree with him because you've been working there since you were 15. You took on extra shifts last year to help pay the bills and you're still in highschool babe."
"I know but I've been keeping up and ahead with school."
"At the risk of your mental and physical health my love, because you work till 7 and do homework till 9, 10 at latest because you fall asleep."
I sighed in defeat and ate some of the cake.
"You're right. Ugh you're right but it's not just school and work. It's random kids being made supernatural by science. It's the past showing up randomly. Thank God my powers fully came in last year or I'd be a true wreck right now."
He looks at me with caring eyes.
"So you're going to go back to your old shifts of working Monday, Wednesday and Friday but only till 5?"
I nodded in defeat and we finished the cake.
"I love you. You're my rock from going crazy." I said as we started cleaning up. He wanted to do it all himself but lost that battle.
"I know. I love you too." He kissed me while washing the dishes.
We finished cleaning up and cuddled a little on the couch before he had to go home and I had to go to bed for school tomorrow.
We said our good nights and I went upstairs after he ran home.
I smiled seeing cyclone asleep on my bed and petted her before getting into my PJs and fell asleep petting her.
