It has been 3 months since Claire has arrived and attended bayside and befriended Kelly's group of friends.
Claire was sitting at the Max with Kelly, Slater and Jessie, working on homework, until Max the owner of the Max came up Turning off the jukebox making everyone at the Max groan
"I just got a telegram," said the guy with a head full of curls as he used what he did best. Magic. As a little note card came out of the tips of his fingers making everyone Ooh and Aww.
"Dance party has selected the Max for a dance contest for all them great kids from bayside... signed by kaysum kaysum,"

Jessie who wasn't interested went back to her books along with Claire. Claire wasn't much of a dance after what happened years ago, which made her not interested. Her cousin Kelly and Slater got out of the booth
"Why don't we partner up kel? We could win it all," said Slater, this made Zack annoyed
"Win with you? We could win if Kelly be my partner," said Zack as he took Kelly by the arm dragging him with him
"Gee I would love to be partners with both of you but I can't decide," said Kelly
"Flip a coin it will make it easier," said Claire as she was annoyed by the whole thing, she really didn't get why the two boys fought over her cousin it was utterly ridiculous in her opinion.
"Oh yea why be partners with a preppy when you be partners with this, stand back and watch," said Slater as he lightly pushed Kelly and Zack back.
After he did that the jukebox played a song while Slater danced showing that he was better than Zack
Men Claire thought as she rolled her eyes to hit back to her books
"Aren't you going to enter Claire?" Asked Kelly as she sat next to her red haired cousin, Claire shrugged her shoulders
"Nah it doesn't seem interesting, but it's more yours and Slater suit," said Claire
"You don't want to do it because your not partners with me," said Zack as he winked at claire, who gave Zack a glare
"No! It's just.... I don't dance." said Claire "Now if you'll excuse me i have to head home and study for the test tomorrow," Said Claire as she got up from her seat walking out of the max
It has been a few hours and Claire was at home working on homework until Zack came into her room.
