Silently crying as I stood under the shower letting the water run down my body. I was so disgusted with myself, but I rather he hurt me than her. She's just an innocent little girl who doesn't deserve that. Every night he tries to harm her, but I stop it because I'll rather die before I let her get hurt. Seems like my mom just doesn't care what happens to us. I'm physically, mentally, & emotionally tired, but I have to stay strong for her. Breaking my thoughts was the little pounding on the door.
"Lo-Lo"
"I'll be out in a minute Kami go wait for me in my room"
"Okay"
Turning the shower off I sighed & got out & wrapped my body in my robe. Opening the door I walked down to my room going in I shut the door & locked it. Kami was laying across my bed watching something on my iPad. Slightly smiling I went grabbed me something to slip on & went laid next to kami.
"What you watching?"
"Moana" she say not turning her head
"Okay, you want to see Kennedi & Ava?"
"Kenny I miss her" she squealed
Laughing I kissed her cheek & called Kennedi she picked up on the last ring.
"Hello?" She said
"Hey it's me Lori I hope I didn't wake you"
"Hey boo & no I'm up working what you up to?"
Sighing I asked if it was okay if Kami & I came over she said yea. After talking to her I got up & went helped Kami her washed up & dressed.
Lei Pov....
Holding her in my arms while she slept a crossed my legs. We've been here damn near all night since her sista called. I feel bad because I can't take the pain away that she's feeling.
"Hey Lei thanks for being here for my sista she's lucky to have you" Lana spoke
"I wouldn't be no where else & I think I'm the lucky one, how's josh still no word?"
"He's still in surgery" she sighed
"I'm praying he pulls through I know how much he means to her. She'll be devastated if something was to happen"
Before Lana responded Dej started to stir around in her sleep. The doctors came out & I lightly nudged dej to get up.
"Is he okay?" Dej asked
"He's a fighter the surgery was touch & go at first, but we successfully removed all the bullets. Unfortunately he's going to undergo rehab so he can walk properly again. Other than that he's going to make a full recovery"
Oh thank god" I say
"Can we see him?"
"He's in & out I suggest one person & let him get some rest"
Lana told Dej she could go she'll come back later & see him. I know she happy about that Josh & Dej relationship was like a best friend bond.

Doctor appointment with Mo she think she's pregnant & I was hoping she was. A nigga wasn't getting no younger & I wanted two kids both boys.
"If ya is I hope it's twin boys" I say
"Who tf gonna push out two babies Khalil?" Mo say seriously
