"And the rhino is back again, I thought I lost you" sagot ni Jun
"Nathan was the first guy that I loved and the first one who broke my heart" mahinang sagot ni Yuuki
**Let's go back to the past**
Yuuki and Eve were sophomore students of Montecristo High when they met Nathan Ruiz, The captain of the basketball team ng school and the youngest son of the owner of Ruiz Pharmaceuticals, Isa sa mga old money families ng Montecristo Hills.

"hey jerk!!would you watch out where you're throwing your balls, nakakasakit kayo ng tao" sigaw ni Eve and looking at Yuuki
"Bata are you ok?dalhin na kita sa clinic, tara"
"I'm fine, di naman masakit" sagot ni Yuuki
Mabilis na umalis sina Eve at Yuuki sa basketball court when they heard someone calling them.
"Miss!!Miss!!teka sandali" sigaw ng isang lalakeng humahangos sa pagtakbo.
"Miss, sorry sa nangyari, napalakas bato naming sa bola, I'm Nathan by the way and you are?" ani ng binata.
"None of your business, let's go Eve" sagot ni Yuuki.
Narinig ito ng mga kasama ni Nathan sa team at pinagtawanan siya.
"woah!bro, hahayaan mo na lang ba na ganunin ka?" sabi ng isang team mate niya.
"Nobody does that to me" ikling sagot nito.
After that encounter, Araw-Araw ng kinukulit ni Nathan si Yuuki, Leaving gifts and food sa locker nito, Which Yuuki ignores kasi wala pa sa isip niya ang ganitong mga bagay. But persistent si Nathan in following Yuuki and getting her attention.
To make the long story short, Yuuki let her guard down and fell for Nathan hard. As in subsob sa sidewalk hard. One day against her better judgement, She decided to confess her feelings for him, thinking that he also feels the same way for her.
"uhm!Nathan, can we talk?" tanong ni Yuuki
"Sure babe, what's on your mind" tanong ni Nathan
"I-I think I'm falling inlove with you! And I was hoping that the feeling is mutual" mahinang sagot nito.
Isang nakakalokang tawa ang nagging sagot ni Nathan sa kanya. Which she totally didn't expect after all the sweet gestures that he kept doing.
"Sorry to burst your bubble babe! But I don't feel the same way" sarcastic na sagot ni Nathan.
"In fact, everything I did was just a farce, I would never fall for a poor girl like you, not ever, not in any lifetime. I just made a bet with the varsity team that I can make you fall for me in less than a month"
Yuuki's heart was shattered beyond repair and to add insult to the injury Nathan shouted:
"Attention Everybody!!Can you Imagine this nobody expecting me to like her back?how pathetic"
Everyone who heard Nathan laughed with him, Plunging Yuuki in a deeper pit of embarrassment. She's wishing na sana lamunin na lang siya ng lupa.
PAK!! Isang malakas na tunog ang bumasag sa tunog ng mga nagtatawanan.
"How dare you do that to my bestfriend?" nagagalit na sabi ni Eve kay Nathan.
'Hey! I'm just telling the truth, and why do you keep on staying with her, she's beneath you" Sagot ni Nathan
"I'd rather be with someone who is poor and real, rather than associate with a**h**les like you" Sagot ni Eve habang hinihila paalis si Yuuki.
Yuuki was the butt of all jokes all through out their sophomore year, Even it hurts her so much 'di na lang niya ito pinapansin. But because of that she became distrustful of rich guys and just guys. Kasi for her all they want to do is play around with hearts.
Jun was speechless after hearing the story. At mas lalo niyang naintindihan kung bakit ganun si Yuuki. She loved the wrong person and paid the price.
But what is this he's feeling? He felt her pain and at the same time wished that she had given her heart to him, Is our heartless Jun, starting to care for someone?
