"I guess you are miss krithi Roy" said the man in black suit.
"Ethan??? What are you doing here?" Krithi Roy asked in a amazed tone yet her facial expression relaxed on seeing someone she knew
"Well! We will talk about it later. Now will you follow me to my cabin?" Ethan said to her in a stern voice in a professional tone.
She was shocked at his cold tone, never he had talked her like this.she quietly nodded and followed him to a cabin may be his office she thought.
Ethan sat in the cozy and elegant leather chair behind the desk where she sat before him silently probably scanning the office. It is very large with glass windows behind the couch with grey curtains that complimented the walls.
Ethan cleared his throat seeking her attention.he was in utter shock thinking of her being cheat their company. It was very difficult for him to think that she could do something like this.
"Why did you try to cheat our company?" Ethan's voice was cold and firm like he was trying hard not to lash on her.
She sat there in silence. She remembered the Diwali night when she accidentally saw her aunt broken when she went to kitchen for water.

Flash back

I was very thirsty that I went to kitchen and I saw aunt sitting alone in the balcony idly staring at the night sky before I made it kitchen. I walked slowly towards her room thinking of her being awake in odd hours.
"Maa, what are you doing here at this hour?"I asked my voice very calm and slight shivering walking into the room and to the balcony.
She choosed remained silent even she felt my presence.
"Are you okay Maa?" I asked a little panick as I found tears rolling down her cheeks but she stubbornly fighting back to prevent them from falling.
I placed my hand on her shoulder turning her to face me. Suddenly she broke down in my arms.
"I am very sorry krithi. I always made things more difficult for you than already they are. I failed. I failed and in taking care of you. I failed to protect you. I failed to bring happiness back into your life. I am terrible. Forgive me dear please. Please forgive me.forgive"she was completely broken. I couldn't help but feel sad and pity for her. But what made me guilt was she thinking that she failed looking after me when in real she has done more than any one could.

" Don't say like that Maa. You did more than any other could. You helped me in my tough times. You never failed me. You only bought happiness back. Without I don't think I would have made till here. I owe you a lot" I tried to assure her consoling her.
"No krithi. I was terrible. i-"I cut her off saying" never say that Maa. You are the best. Tell me what made you think like that?"

She became quite for sometime" my boss threatened me suing for leaking the confidentials out in the project you dealt.when he threatened me I told him the truth. He asked me for you" she said in a trembling voice.

I was shocked. I never expected this that they would find. But what freaked more was that they threatened suing for leaking the confidentials. I never did that.

"Maa don't worry. We will manage. We never leaked out anything. I will talk to him. But please Maa never think that you failed. You helped me a lot" I hugged her and comforted her.
She stopped crying and I helped her getting back to bed. Wishing her good night I went back to my room after drinking water.
I decided to meet them and deal it.

I saw Ethan looking at her with furious in his eyes. He has every right to be furious.

"I didn't leaked any of your confidentials. Trust me Ethan" I said looking directly into his eyes confidently.
"Then how can you explain you knowing every detail of the project? This is clear that you stole the project details from your aunt and in the name of helping, you stole it."he yelled at me in a rage his eyes full of anger and betrayal.
I took a deep breath and said" listen Ethan. It's not what you think. Its true I helped her in this project but I never leaked any confidentials."
