It's been a few days since Mr. Woods was hospitalized. He's definitely doing better, and Lexa has been spending more time and less time at the hospital. Today is Halloween as well as the the day of the Halloween part at the Blake's house. Of course, we also had school today, so we have to get through that first.
My first few classes were boring. Mostly because Lexa and Luna aren't here. They've been bouncing between home and the hospital with no time for school. I was surprised that it's lunch already. I made my way to our usual table with Raven since we have the class before lunch together. We were surprised to see Octavia and Lincoln waiting for us.
"Ayye! Griff, Reyes!" Octavia said when she saw us. I just rolled my eyes, and she laughed.
"Sooo.... Are we going to see Party Girl Griffin today?" Raven asked, although Octavia and even Lincoln seemed just as curious.
"Ya know what, maybe. It's been a rough few months," I answered, and all of them started cheering. "You guys are way too excited," I add after they quiet down.
"Why wouldn't we be? It's a party Griffin!" Raven said back without hesitation. I nodded in understanding, and the rest of our friends started showing up.
"Hey, guys! Clarke said she's gonna show us Party Girl Griffin tonight!" Octavia announced once everyone was there. I just flipped her off while everyone got excited. I really don't understand why it's so exciting. I think they just like watching me try to drink them under the table and failing. I like to think my tolerance is high, but recently it's been less than usual because I haven't been drinking as often as in the past.
"Hey! We should invite the Woods girls," Raven said while winking at me.
"God no," I groaned. As much as I'd love to party with Lexa, there's no way I won't do something embarrassing.
"You scared princess," Bellamy teased. I was going to answer, but no words came out of my mouth.
"Oh, now they're definitely coming!" Raven announced while pulling out her phone. I gave her my best death glare. She looked a little scared, but I think part of her assumed this was something I wanted so she continued. She was right, a part of me did want this, but the very much so bigger part of me did not.
"Luna said she's coming," Raven paused with a wicked smile, "she said she'll ask Lexa." I groaned and let my head drop onto the table over dramatically which, of course, made everyone else laugh.
"Party Girl Griffin will no longer be attending the party. Just normal old Clarke," I said with my forehead still pressed into the table.
"Party pooper," Octavia grumbled.
"If anything, you'd think this would make Party Girl Griffin more inclined to show up. If you catch my drift," Raven nudged my shoulder jokingly. I lifted my head, just to scowl at her, before placing it back on the table. I have decided to go into hiding for the rest of lunch.
"Jeez. Now I see why your last name is Griffin," Raven joked. I looked up at her in confusion, so she continued, "That glare is like one a Griffin gives it's prey before it devours it."
Everyone broke out into laughing fits after that. They were only silenced when Raven's phone dinged. "Ahah! Victory is ours. Lexa AND Luna are coming to the party," she announced with triumph in her voice. I groaned and lifted my head up to start eating.
"Please tell me this doesn't mean Grumpy Griffin is coming to the party?" Octavia joked.
"I prefer Princess Party Pooper," I heard Bellamy laugh at his own joke which made everyone else laugh except me.
