A/N: The people have spoken! I promise you, Lexa and Clarke will be coming back together again soon enough. Should only take a few more chapters :) I hope this is good enough news that you'll forgive me for not making a Christmas chapter. It feels weird to write it when they're not together, however, there will be a chapter where they give each other the Christmas gifts they got each other! Other than that, enjoy, and remember that patience is a virtue XD

Lexa's POV

"Wakey wakey Lexa!" I hear a familiar voice shout into my ear.

"Jesus Christ Raven are you trying to break my ear drums?" I shout a little agitated.

"Sorry, but Clarke's showcase is today, and I thought you decided you wanted to go," Raven says.

Holy shit. That's today? I completely forgot. "Yeah, I guess I still want to go," I try to play it off cool.

"Don't give me that fake shit, I know you're head over heels excited. I can see the glint in your eyes," Raven counters with a smirk.

"Whatever," I say while shoving her off of me and getting out of bed. I can hear Raven snickering while she exits my room, allowing me to change and get ready in peace. Thank God. I quickly look around for something nice. I decide to go with what I wore to the dance before Thanksgiving. It brings up memories, but I push them away quickly. They meaning nothing right now.

After that, I walk to the bathroom and brush my teeth and fix up my hair. I decide to leave it down today before heading out into the living room. "Looking good," Raven says, earning her an elbow to the side from Luna. "What? It's just a compliment!" Raven defends.

"You're not my type anyway," I say with a playful tone and a shrug.

"Ass," Raven huffs.

"I know, it's nice isn't it," I counter.

"Fuck off," Raven says while flipping me off.

"Damn, no come back for that one?" Luna asks with a smirk.

"She made it difficult," I shrug.

"Anyway, let's get going! Clarkie will kill me if I'm late," Raven exclaims.

"Clarkie?" Luna questions with a snicker.

"Mhm, she hates the nick name though," she chuckles, "the only person she didn't murder when they used it was Lexa and our group of delinquents."

"Well then," Luna says while making her way to the garage. Once she enters she motions her hand towards her car to signal for us to get in. We easily climb in, and Luna starts driving to the gallery.

All I can think about is seeing Clarke again. Well, I saw her before, but that was from a difference. Plus, here I get to see her artwork which I've never really seen before. I've only ever seen her sketches. If her finished works with color are anywhere near as good as her sketches, than surely she'll do great.

"Here we are," Luna announces. I glance up and instantly the breath leaves my lungs. The gallery itself is gorgeous. I can't imagine how great the work inside must be. Clarke must be pretty damn good if this is where her first showcase is.

"Onward!" Ravens exclaims while marching towards the door. I snicker at her antics while Luna hangs out by me.

"How you hanging in there?" Luna asks curiously.

"I'll be fine," I told her, practically repeating my words from a few days ago.

"If you say so, but if you need anything feel free to come find me," Luna assures me. I nod and make my into the gallery.
