Her Revenge

Chapter 4

I wake up in my room and it looks like the lights are out. 

I get up to go switch on the lights and it seems like we out of electricity...weird. There is only little light coming through the curtains and windows.

I open my door and walk out to see where mommy is.

I open her bedroom door and see her on the floor with blood coming from her head. It's like she has been shot.

I run to her and then notice Lema's throat cut open and a lot of blood is coming from her neck. I try soaking up the blood from Lema's neck, to maybe save her...

"Elmaaaa...."

I look around and see nobody calling me, so I choose to ignore it.

"Elmaaaaaaaa..."

The voice sounds louder I stand up from next to Lema and try listening to hear where the wail is coming from.

As I walk out the room, I feel something hold onto me. I look down to see what it is, then realize that's it's my mom...

"Mommy what happened?!"

"Don't worry about that angel, I will always be here if you need me..."

She says and even more blood comes out of her head, she pulls on me even more. I kneel down this time to look at her in her eyes.

"You need to leave, my angel. I don't want your father to get to you too..."

"Get to me how, mommy? I don't understand–"

"Shhhhhh...don't ask questions. Just get out of here now!"

"Okay mommy!"

She lets go of my leg, and I run out my mom's bedroom door then walk down the stairs and can't find the front door anywhere. I run towards the backdoor and it's also missing...it is like the doors were never there.

I hear whispers and heavy footsteps coming towards me. I try looking for a hiding but can't find one. I tip-toe towards the stairs, atleeast I can hide in my room.
