Season 1 - Chapter 9: Ninja Wisdom

After all the shenanigans with Dedenne and a Pichu the previous day we continued on our journey to Cyllage City. We stopped in this clearing with a beautiful waterfall and a little tiny body of water at the bottom of it. I was Serena's shoulders at the time as Eevee but I jumped off and ran to the water. Just before I entered it I transformed into Vaeporeon and dove straight in. I swam around under the water for a little bit before breaking the surface.

"This feels great!" I exclaimed as I dove back in and then, using my sliver Eevee Form on my tail to enhance its strength, I launched out of the water. I landed right next to Serena, scaring her. "Aaaahhh!" Serena screamed. I started to laugh hard while everyone else was chuckling. Serena glared at everyone and then at me. "Don't scare me like that Aiko!" Serena said with a stern tone, "Or you won't get any Pokepuffs the next time I make them" Serena said with a smirk.

The color drains from my face as I stared up at her with wide eyes. "You wouldn't dare," I said. Serena and I stared at each other before she smiled. "Your right, I wouldn't do that but I might if you scare me like that again so don't do that" Serena said as she pets my head. "Okay," I said as I walked over to Bonnie and laid down next to her.

After a few moments of resting, Ash called me over. "Hey, Aiko can you come here a sec" Ash called. I opened one of my eyes before standing up. "Sure, why not," I said as I stood up, yawned, and stretched before walking over to Ash and sitting at his feet. "What you need?" I asked. Ash responded by taking a Pokeball out and tossing it up into the air, releasing Froakie. "Hey Aiko," Froakie said in a level tone after he landed. "Hello, Froakie" I responded before turning back to Ash.

"Are we training?" I asked and he nodded. "I want to train Froakie so that he can increase his accuracy with his moves and even throwing his Frubbles" Ash explained. "Okay, so how's this going to work?" I asked. He gripped his chin in a thinking pose before he snapped his fingers. "How about you run through the trees fast and Froakie can try an hit you" Ash suggested. "Sounds good to me," I said before I turned around and lept onto one of the trees.

"You guys ready!" I called out. As I called out I couldn't shake the feeling we were being watched. I tried sensing where the person or pokemon was but couldn't find it. "We're ready Aiko!" Ash shouted. After that, I started to run across the trees as fast as I could without using Silver Eevee form power to enhance my speed. I ran across the trees with Froakie hitting me a few times which was pretty good. After that, I lept back towards the group but as I did I felt like something wasn't right.

I think Froakie felt it too because he all of a sudden threw his frubbles at a tree, hitting something. As soon as I landed on the ground I Immediately whipped my entire body around and in a fighting position. The place where Froakie's frubbles hit all of a sudden... spoke. "So you've found me, eh?" the voice said as it dropped its cover, revealing a ninja. Everyone gasped in surprise while Bonnie said "Wow a Ninja!" excitedly.

Following closely after that both me and Froakie lept in front of the group with Froakie staring at the stranger with a level gaze while I growled softly at him. "Now, Ninja Leaf Shroud!" The guy shouted as he slammed his hand into the ground. A vortex of wind and brown leaves of sorts appeared suddenly and it rapidly spun around him until it dispersed, revealing the Ninja had disappeared. "He's gone!" Both me and Ash said in unison.

All of us just stood there staring at the spot where this Ninja disappeared. As we looked at where the Ninja was and looked around us a bush near us started to move. Sensing it both me and Froakie launched an attack, Froakie threw his Frubbles while I fired off a Water Pulse. As they made their way to the target a command was heard. "Use your Frubbles!" The voice commanded. Suddenly Frubles came flying out at Froakie's frubbles and absorbed his and almost hit Froakie but he dodged them.
