After the PokePuff cooking competition, we continued on our way to Shaluor City. On our way there we walked through this town and walked by a poster. I stopped walking and looked at the holographic board. "What's that?" I asked. Everyone stopped and turned to look at the same board I was. Ash walked up closer to it and inspected it. "Woah, a hug Pokemon Battle!" Ash said excitedly after reading the poster on the screen. "And it's taking place right here in town," Clemont said. "Wow," Serena responded. "That sounds really convenient for us," I said.

"Your right Aiko. We should definitely go!" Ash said excitedly, causing me to smile. "Wait! is that..." Serena said as she leaned in closer to inspect the poster better. "Huh?" me and everyone else said at the same time. "It is! Diantha's doing an exhibition battle" Serena said with her hands clasped together. "Who's Diantha?" I wondered in m head. "Wonderful"!" Clemont said as Bonnie agreed with a "Yeah".

"Awesome, alright!" Ash said excitedly. "So who's Diantha anyway?" both Me and Ash asked in unison. Everyone fell after we asked our question and I just tilted my head in confusion. "How can you not know who she is?" Serena shouted as she held her hands up in a fist near her face. "Hey, don't ask me that. I lived in the forest for almost my entire life" I said defensively. "Right... Sorry, Aiko" Serena apologized. "But to tell you who she is, she's the strongest Trainer in all of Kalos, that's who," Clemont said.

"Yep, she's the champion," Bonnie said proudly. "Really? No kidding?" Ash said excitedly. Then he looked back at the board, "Diantha, the champion, huh? I'm-". "Psyched" I chimed in. "Yeah Aiko, I am psyched!" Ash said excitedly as he looked at me. "Not only is she the champion she also happens to be a world-famous movie star," Serena said. "Movie Star? What's that?" I asked curiously. "It's someone who's in a movie. Just have a lookup there!" Serena said, answering my question and pointing up to a massive advertisement with Diantha on the front.

"That her in the blockbuster "My Sweet, Sweet Lady"," Clemont said as we looked up at the advertisement. "Elegant, with a dignified presence!" Serena said with awe, "The all-around perfect leading lady. I so admire her!". "I do too!" Clemont said after Serena finished. Before I could ask him why Ash shouted. "Yes! That's it! I'll challenge her!" Ash said with a determined look on his face. "Huh!" Both me and Serena said at the same time.

Even though I don't know much I know that Diantha is the Champion for a reason. So I would think that challenging the Kalos region champion to a battle right now is a very smart idea. "In that case, I'll ask her to take care of Clemont for me!" Bonnie said happily. "Yeah, and I'll help you to Bonnie," I said as I high-fived bonnie with my paw. "That's even more ridiculous," Clemont said as he looked down, finished with everything. "Come on! Let's go see her!" Ash shouted as he started to run off and we all started chasing after him.

We ran all the way to the building where Diantha's battle was taking place. When we entered the building we made our way to where the front desk lady said Diantha should be. When we walked down the hallway and turned left we saw a bunch of reporters crowding around the door of where we needed to go. "Check out that crowd!" Ash said as we turned the corner. "I don't think we're going to be able to see Diantha today, there are too many people in the way," I said a little dejectedly. I was actually looking forward to meeting Diantha and possibly fighting her, despite my earlier statement.

Them the short lady blocking the other people from getting into the room said that Diantha wasn't going to be seeing anyone today. "Know what?" Ash said a little less excited now. "We're out of luck," Serena said, finishing Ash's sentence. "Shall we go back?" Clemont asked. "We might as well," I said. Before we could go anywhere, we all heard a voice that sounded familiar. "Hey! over here," the voice said.
