I took a deep breathe. For the last time in my life, I will be Margaret Hughes. Honestly, I was kind of thankful to be getting rid of that surname. The other members of the Hughes family weren't exactly stellar. The Weasley family, however. Now that was a family I could get behind. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were the kindest, most loving people on the planet. Bill was a caring older brother. Not to mention super cool. I'd only met Charlie a few times, but he works with dragons. Enough said. Percy has really grown since the Battle. George, obviously, is my favorite. So handsome, funny, and just all around amazing. Ron is hilarious and loyal. Ginny is a badass who never fails to make me smile.
I heard the music start to signal that it's my time to walk down the aisle. I could feel everyone's eyes on me, which made me anxious. But I just looked at George. He looked really good in his suit and blue hair. When I got up to him, I noticed he way crying. I wiped his tears and whispered "George you saw me like 10 minutes ago in this dress. Why are you crying now?"
"Because you look so damn beautiful. I had to be strong for you back there, but now I can fully take in everything." His eyes roamed over my body.
Lee Jordan had volunteered to marry us, and we agreed because we thought it would be nice to have a friend do it.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, today we gather here to celebrate the marriage of Margaret Hughes and George Weasley. How George got her to agree? I'll never know. My current theory is that Margaret ended up at St. Mungo's one too many times and got extensive brain damage."
I saw Mrs. Weasley's shocked face at Lee's teasing. I just laughed it off. It felt good to have a light-hearted wedding. It took my mind off of all my worries from before. I looked at George and saw him glaring at Lee.
"You know, I was dating her before she ever ended up at St. Mungo's."
"You don't have to defend your honor, George. Brain damage or not, I still love you." I quickly kissed him.
"NOT YET!" Lee said. "Save it or I'll put you both in a Full body bind curse. You two have been through so much together. Yet you are still standing here today. To make it through all that required strength and bravery that most people don't have. But both of you made it, to no one's surprise. It's a testament to your love for each other, which bends a little with a strong wind, but has yet to break. Now it's time for the vows."
George went first. "Margaret, I told you I wrote a 16 minute rap." Audible gasps came from the crowd. "But after that little stunt Lee just pulled I no longer want to have him as my beat boxer. Therefore, I am forced to just merely speak my vows like a peasant. I told you earlier that I would stand by you no matter what. I broke that promise a little over a year ago, and to this day it remains my biggest regret. But I'm going to make that promise again as I stand here before an audience to make sure I keep it. And based on the looks I'm getting from the bridal party, I will be dead if I break it. So Margaret Hughes, I promise that no matter how many times you wake me up in the middle of the night, how horrific your cooking is, if the world brings on another onslaught of pain and misery, I will be there. I might not have always been able to protect you. But I will try my best. Because you are the only one for me. There is no one else better than you."
Lee wiped a tear from his eye. "Margaret, your turn."
"You better keep that promise George Fabian Weasley." I said, causing the wedding party to laugh. "But seriously. Right now I'm standing on a blanket. To everyone else here, it's just a blanket. In fact, your mom is probably having a heart attack that we are probably getting mud all over it. But to me, this blanket holds a thousand memories. Some are not able to be shared" I added with a wink. "But this blanket just shows to me and everyone else how much I love you. It holds a thousand memories, but I want to make a hundred thousand more with you by my side. I haven't really had a family for a few years. But now I'm starting one all on my own. And there's no one else I'd rather have by my side."
"Does the best man have the rings?" Lee asked. Teddy was obviously waiting for this moment as he screamed "I DO!" In his little baby voice. He ran up to Lee and handed him the rings before running back to his grandmother.
"Now I have just one more thing for you two before we make it official: Are you ready?"
George and I turned to each other and smiled. We turned back to Lee and replied "For anything"
"George, repeat after me. I, George Fabian Weasley, take Margaret Anne Hughes, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and hold from this day forward for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part."

"You may now kiss the bride"
George pulled me in for a passionate kiss. His arms wrapped around my waist and my arms wrapped around his neck.
"Alright that's enough you two. There's a baby present." George and I broke apart with a smile.
Now it's time for the best part of a wedding-the party.
