Meeting The Family

Lauren's POV

When Kyle and Jason said that they were here to help us I was so shocked. Our race has a chance of being saved!

"So where are we going next?" asked Skylar we were sitting on the curb, all four of us.

"To my parents house" replied Jason as he stood up and started to walk towards a black car parked not very far from where we were sitting.

Kyle stood up and lent me his had, I gladly took it as he helped me get up. Skylar started to follow Jason as well as me and Kyle, and we were keeping our distance.

I jogged to catch up with Skylar and we started to walked side by side. "So what do you think of Kyle and Jason?" I whispered quietly to Skylar so the boys wouldn't hear. "They're really nice." murmured Skylar as we reached the car. I opened the back door and climbed in with Skylar just behind.

"Where do your parents live?" I asked Jason as he started the car and we were now moving swiftly down the road with all of the shops now a blur.

"Just up ahead here" replied Jason as he pointed to a little cottage really close to where we were.

We pulled up the driveway and got out I followed Jason as he walked up the driveway towards the front door, he unlocked it and walked inside.

"Jason! where were you?" asked a woman with slightly frayed brown hair and caring blue eyes, this must be his mother I thought to myself as she walked over towards Jason and engulfed him in a hug. I heard Skylar snigger as Jason muttered "Stop it mom your emberessing me!"

"Oh" she said as she looked over at me and Skylar with a smile on her face.

"Jenny your brother's home and we have compony get down here, now!" yelled Jason's mother as a girl our age, Jenny ran downstairs. She had long dark brown hair with sparkling green eyes.

"Who are these two lovely ladies?" asked Jason's mom as she looked at us.

"I'm Lauren and this is Skylar" I said while pointing at her. She waves at Jason's mom with a smile also on her face.

"Nice to meet you" said Jason's mom as she exteneded her hand for us to shake. I took and politlely shook her hand and so did Skylar.

"Um- Can I ask you guys something?" asked Kyle shyly

"Sure" I said as I looked over at him

"Well- Um I've never seen a shapeshifter shape shift and I was wondering if we could see one, can we?" he asked as he looked up at me and Skylar.

"Sure, does it matter what form?" Skylar asked

"No" replied Kyle as excitment started to dance in his dark brown eyes.

"Ok" I thought about what I would change into.

Let's see, a wolf! That's perfect I thought to myself as I imagianed the looks on thier faces.

I turned the braclet until I reached wolf and I then felt my bones getting bigger and smaller, my face growing longer forming a snout and I was soon a beautiful silver wolf with my dark brown eyes standing before Skylar, Jason, Jenny, Kyle, abd Jason's mom.

"Wow...." I heard Kyle breath out

I padded around to show them and then after about five minutes I decieded ti change back into a human and I turned the braclet to human and was now my normal self again.

"Who are these girls?!" said a angery voice behind me.

"Oh no, not Jared" whispered Jason as he walked past me putting me and Skylar behind him.

What's with this Jared dude?
