Chapter 1
Darkness

"One, Two, Three..." A voice shouted as the man trailed off from his lost of breath.

"CLEAR!" The man's voice continued, as I felt myself violently shook. This seems so wrong. I should not feel any of this. My whole body seems so stiff but--b-but I can feel it. Everything. My eyes flew open and my inner soul awakes yet my body lay stiffly as dead. I can't move. I want to run. I need to go anywhere but here.

I am in a white room. In a very nostalgic room. Atleast five people stood beside where I lay. Why? Am I dead? Where am I?

They continue to do the same thing at my body for more than three times before I heard a deafening sound of a machine.

Everything was so confusing yet I feel so numb. Numb from pain. I feel everything but not pain.

I feel like dead. I feel so weak. What is this?

What the hell is happening?

What are they doing to me?

I felt my eyes felt heavy as darkness tried to swallow me. No. What is this? I feel so afraid. So lost. I tried to stretch my arms as far as I could, I couldn't, it just seemed so impossible.

I looked at the man with a mask covering his face and sweat continuously pouring in the sides of his face.

"Tiara! No!Don't leave us, yet! Doctor, save her. Please!" A voice from the further side of the room said. I whip my head in that uncertain direction. I could not hear him or her exactly but I wanna see that person. I feel like in need to be in that person's embrace.

I felt a sting of pain in my chest. Everything's blurry and spinning. Whirlwind images flashing. Lights flickering. Friction. Noises. I can't keep up. I clutched my chest, feeling suffocated. Black orbs trying to reach me. Stumbling as I tried to escape from its grasp. Tears streaming, I can't keep up..

"I'm sorry. Time of death, 11:59."

The man's voice is all I've heard that pushed me further into the darkness.

--

"She's a miracle."

"Huh? How come?"

"She was good as dead in the hospital bed when after a second she woke up.. Tell you, It's exactly New Year.."

"Woah. Really? That's so creepy."

"Yeah, that sounds so unrealistic, but hey that's just what I've heard."

I overheard the two girls in the school's comfort room.
I'm used to it.

They always say exactly the same thing about me. Not that it bothers me. It's all true. Word by word.

Okay fine. At first it bothers me big time. Who wouldn't?

You, a normal girl dies then wakes up like nothing happened?

Huh. That's just not anything but creepy. Just like what everyone said. I'm a creep. Some says it was a miracle. That I am a miracle? What? Like duh.

No one cares though, they just kept on spreading the issue. All over. Again and again!

They don't know what happened to me exactly before I was laid in that hospital bed. I don't care, because neither do I.

I don't remember anything except the basics. I'm Tiara Carinne Deimiscus. 16. Freshmen in College. Half Greek.

I have two sisters and a brother. I live with my father and I have no mother. And today I am fixing my hoodie inside the school's CR just to be welcomed by the same issue again. Great. Just great. What a good day to start the first day of school.

I stood far aside from the mirror.

I sighed. Girls. Just curse all girls with make ups. Ugh. Dirty faces.

I rolled my eyes at the two girls who didn't even knew I was there. I stomped my feet with every step enough for them to know that I was just right behind them.

I caught them with their shocked faces but I never looked backed again but then continues to proceed to my first class.

I felt a pang of pain in my head as I gripped at one of the lockers. I cursed loudly.
Fast flashes of images pass my head.

Da mn it hurts.

I heard a loud curse then a fast few sturdy steps towards me.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to..." A stern voice from a man said in front of me. Far away from being sympathetic. Really? Wow. He's really sorry, huh?

"You were blocking the way.."

That caught me of guard.

Wow! I was blocking the way? The way of what? The fu cking ball? I was blocking the way of the ball in a fu cking corridor! Wow. Just wow!

"Don't touch me..." I said trying to fix my stand. "..Move." I said still gripping my head. That hurts.

I felt a little dizzy as I managed myself to walk. Da mn I feel like throwing up.

"Here. Let me help you." The man said. Holding my shoulders that made me feel waves of electricity.

"I said don't touch me!Leave me alone and get that dam n ball out of my fucking sight! " I retorted facing the man's face.

"Okay. Okay. Fine. Just trying to help. Sorry, okay?" He said raising both of his hands like surrendering but the sarcasm in his voice caught me, again. What the hell?

I punch him straight in the face. Hearing a lot of loud gasps from the crowd. Most likely girls. Suits you right! I said then walked away gripping my head.

I heave an exasperated sigh. That was a great punch.
