Brooke groaned to herself as she woke up to knocking at the door. She groaned as she walked to the door and answered it as she saw joe. She looked to him and crossed her arms over her chest
"why are you here?" She asked as he looked to her
"we need to talk over what happened" he said as he grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the wool pack. She looked to him and glared
"what the hell are you doing, I'm half naked and it's freezing" she said as he looked to her and sighed "your always half naked Brooke" he spat as she looked to him and glared
"what the hell is your problem" she asked as he looked to her
"I need to know if you are going to tell anyone that we had sex?" He asked as she looked to him and rolled her eyes
"is that all you care about if we had sex? It was a mistake joe like us and that is how it will stay" Brooke said as he looked to her and nodded
"that it was" he said "like us, you dropped me for Debbie my own cousin and to think I was in love with you well, it's safe to say I am a bigger idiot than i thought but don't worry I won't tell a soul" Brooke said as he looked to her and nodded
"I'm leaving with Debbie, so you don't need to worry about that" he said as she looked to him and glared
"good" Brooke said as she walked back in and slammed the door. Brooke felt like she wanted to cry but she knew part of her was so hurt over him but she knew that she needed to try and move on. Brooke walked into the kitchen and sighed as she ran her hands through her hair.
She looked as chas walked into the room and smiled "are you okay?" Chas asked
"I've been better" Brooke said as chas looked to her and smiled "I heard you and joe, you are better of without him" chas said as Brooke nodded. Brooke knew that her mum was right and that she needed to try and find a way to move on.
She needed to be happy and she knew that she needed to move on and be happy and she knew that joe didn't make her happy. He made her sad and she didn't want that.
Brooke knew that she had been through so much and they soo she wanted was to find a way to be happy.
Brooke knew that it would be a lot easier to move on when joe left and she hoped it was soon as she was pissed, she was pissed at him and she was pissed at herself for it. For sleeping with joe when she knew they shouldn't of happened

Brooke sat in the cafe and smiled as Lacey walked in. Lacey looked to her and frowned
"are you okay, you look like crap?" Lacey asked as Brooke looked to her and rolled her eyes
"well thanks" Brooke said as Lacey sat down opposite her and frowned. Lacey knew Brooke and she could tell that she was off and that there was something bothering her
"what happened?" Lacey asked as Brooke looked to her and smiled "joe is leaving"
"good riddance" Lacey said as Brooke nodded
"what happened" Lacey asked
"we had sex and it shouldn't of happened and all I can think over how it is all a mess and how we were together and how it was all a lie and just how hurt i am" Brooke said as Lacey looked to her and smiled as she hugged her and smiled
"he is a jerk and you don't need him, you are my best friend and you deserve better. Better than how he treated you" Lacey said as Brooke looked to her with tears in her eyes and smiled
"you will meet someone, you will meet someone who makes you so happy and it will all be okay" Lacey said as Brooke nodded.
Brooke hoped Lacey was right and that she'd find a way to get over the heartbreak joe Tate had caused

Brooke stood behind the bar. Chas had talked her into doing a shift to distract her. Brooke smiled as she saw Ross "you look how I feel?" Brooke said as he looked to her and smiled
"I'm just sick of being messed around by Debbie" he said
"trust me I know over being messed over, Debbie may be my cousin but she is a cow" Brooke said as he looked to her and smiled
"maybe we need to talk over being screwed. We could get a drink sometime" Ross said as Brooke looked to him and smiled
"that sounds like a good idea" she said as he looked to her and smirked.
Little did Brooke know that it was the start of something new
