Brooke lay asleep in the seat next to Lacey's bedside. She hadn't left Lacey's bedside in days for more than an hour "Brooke" Lacey said as she woke up. Brooke woke up and smiled as she looked to her best friend and smiled as she ran a hand through her hair as she looked to Lacey "hey, are you okay" Brooke asked as Lacey looked to her and smiled "yeah, I guess" Lacey said as Brooke looked to her and smiled "it's going to be okay and I know that you have been through so much and I promise you that I am not going to let you down. Clive has hurt you so much and I won't let him do it again" "I love him Brooke" Lacey said as Brooke looked to her and smiled "I know but he had but you so much Lacey and if he loved you like he said he did. He would do the right thing and end it with leyla" Brooke said
Lacey looked to her and smiled as a tear rolled down her face. Brooke took a hold of her hand and smiled "I love you, your my best friend and all I do is for you. You should remember that" Brooke said as she sat next to Lacey on the bed and smiled as she leant in and hugged Lacey who smiled "I'm glad I can count on you" Lacey said as Brooke smiled "you can and I promise I am not going anywhere" she said as Lacey looked to her "have you spoken to joe" she asked as Brooke shock her head "no and I don't want to. He has hurt me enough and I can't deal with that" Brooke said as Lacey smiled "he's an idiot and you deserve so much better" Lacey said as Brooke looked to her and smiled

Brooke got home and sighed as she sat on the sofa. She ran her hands through her hair as she felt herself crying. Chas walked into the room and frowned as she sat next to Brooke and pulled her into a hug "he broke my heart" Brooke said as chas smiled "I know that he did, I know what he has done to you and I wish that I could take the pain away. I'm your mum and I hate seeing you so heartbroken" chas said as Brooke looked to her and smiled "I guess it's for the best that Its for the best that I know what he's like. What he would do to me before I fell for him anymore" Brooke said as chas placed a hand on her cheek and smiled "I know it hurts but it's all going to be okay" chas said as Brooke looked to her and smiled

Brooke sighed to herself as she stood collecting glasses outside. She was helping her mum out at the pub. She frowned to herself as she saw joe with Debbie and felt nu mob. She felt her heart break seeing them. She knew she deserved a lot better than how he was treating her
