Brooke lay in bed and sighed. She knew that the whole family were grieving.

They were grieving for Gracie, Brooke couldn't believe she was gone. She knew that she didn't know her very long but it was her little sister and all that Brooke could think about was chas and the pain that she must be feeling and she hated knowing that nothing could take away her pain.

Brooke knew that she was grieving and she had to do it in her own way. Brooke heard a knock at the door and stood up and answered it as she looked to see Ross and smiled

"what are you doing here" she asked as he smiled

"I wanted to see my girl and see how you are" he asked as she smiled as he followed her into the bedroom

"I'm okay, I think" Brooke said as he walked over to her and hugged her and smiled as he kissed the top of her head and smiled

"I know its hard but I am here for you and and I am going no where" Ross said as Brooke smiled

Brooke was grateful that he was there and she didn't even have to ask him to be. She didn't know what she would do without him in her life

Brooke walked into the cafe and smiled as she saw Lacey

"are you okay" Lacey asked as Brooke nodded

"I would be if people stopped starring. We all know what happened to Gracie I just don't want to be seen as a freak show" Brooke said as Lacey smiled

"it's will be okay. Do you want a shock I found out who my mother is" Lacey said as Brooke looked to her and frowned

"I didn't even know that you were looking for her"

"I wasn't but I found out. It's Kim tate" Lacey said as Brooke almost choked on her donut as she looked to her best friend and frowned

"what" Lacey asked as Brooke smiled

"I know, I couldn't believe it either. Apparently she got pregnant after a fling and then she had me and she went to jail when I was about four I think I remember her just and then my dad took me and raised me. He never talked over her so I forgot. It's a lot to take on" Lacey said as Brooke looked to her and smiled

"I bet it is, are you okay" Brooke asked as Lacey looked to her and sighed

"I have no idea. She wants to be my mum and I just need to think over it all, it's a big decision" Lacey said as Brooke looked to her and smiled

"no matter what your not alone"

Brooke lay on bed with Ross and smiled

"I have been thinking" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"yeah?" She asked as he looked to her and smiled

"what if we had a baby I mean I don't mean now but one day I mean I do want to have kids with you" he said as Brooke looked to him and shocked

"you really?" Brooke asked as Ross nodded

"i know but it's you. You have changed me and it's going to be okay" he said as she looked to him and smiled.

Brooke knew that things were messy on her life right now but could the talk over having a baby just make things more complicated?
