The coach had Hinata greet himself to the entire team " Hello.. " Hinata started nervously " T-thank you for letting me join the team " he said as he bowed slightly, soon nervously walking back in line, hiding behind Oikawa. Oikawa giggled quietly to himself when he saw the other hide behind him. After the coach dismissed the team to start, Hinata looked very confused not sure what to do or where to go. Oikawa noticed this and walked up to him " Ok so to start off practice, we usually do solo or duo practice for a bit and work on whatever we feel needs the most work. " he said as he once again patted the others back. " ill be your partner for today! " he said with a smile as he took shoyo over to one of the empty courts in the gym " so shoyo, what do you think you need to work on?? " he asked the other as he grabbed a ball out of a cart and spun it in his hand. " well.. i definitely need to work on my serves and receives " Shoyo answered as he looked up at Oikawa. " Oh ok! ill help you with serves then! " Oikawa said with a smile as he handed Shoyo a ball.

Shoyo smiled as he held the ball in his hand, " So show me how you serve. " Oikawa told the other. Hinata nodded with a nervous smile as he gulped ' don't mess it up. don't mess it up. don't mess it up. ' he repeated in his head over and over again. he let out a deep breath before throwing the ball up to serve, soon it came back down and hit him in the face. " owwww " he mumbled to himself as he rubbed his face. Oikawa kinda wanted to laugh at this but that urge soon went away when he heard the other. " Hinata.. are you ok?? " he asked the other as he grabbed his wrist. Hinata nodded soon after " mhm.. yeah im fine.. im used to getting hit in the face by now " he said as he grabbed the ball off the floor. " Sooo.. could you show me how to serve?? " Shoyo asked Oikawa as he handed the ball to him. " oh yeah! i haven't done a non jump serve in a while so i might be a little rusty. " Oikawa said as he grabbed the ball from Shoyo.

Shoyo smiled as he stepped back a bit, ready to see how Oikawa serves. Oikawa looked at Hinata " Ok.. So first you gotta learn the foot work " he said as he started to demonstrate, how he walked up to serve. Shoyo watched carefully then smiling as he started to understand it, " Oh i get it now! " he said with a smile as he continued to watch over Oikawa. " good, now that you have the foot work down you gotta get the toss down. " Oikawa said as he put the ball in one hand and tossed it up. " It might take a couple tries since tossing can be difficult to get right. " Oikawa then tossed the ball to Hinata. " Here try tossing it " Oikawa said with a smile. Hinata nodded, then tossing it up like Oikawa said, smiling when it went up high. " good job Shoyo! " Oikawa said as he ruffled Hinata's hair a bit smiling. " Now all you have left to learn is the hitting part, So you apprach like how i taught you, toss the ball... then swing " he said as he then threw up the ball, and swung at it hard. 

Shoyo looked at the other in Awe," WOW! YOUR SERVE IS AMAZING OIKAWA-SAN!! " Hinata said with a big smile and jumped up a bit. Oikawa chuckled at this a bit, then handing Hinata a ball " ok your turn " he said with a smile as he backed up leaving space for Hinata to serve. Shoyo nodded nervously, soon taking the ball in his hand, getting into position to serve. Shoyo's whole body was shaky, especially the arm with the ball he was very visibly nervous. Oikawa noticed this and walked up to hinata grabbing both of Shoyos arms from behind  " hey dont be so nervous, here aim your arm a little higher. " Oikawa suggested as he moved the others arm up a bit. " Alright that's good! Try now Shoyo!! " he said as he stepped back smiling. Hinata was a little red after what Oikawa just did, but shook it off ready to serve. he started moving his feet, then he tossed the ball, and finally he swung at it. 

Oikawa smiled as it went over the net and in the middle of the other side of the court " Good job chibi-chan!! " he said as he walked back over to Shoyo " Much better than your first one  " Oikawa added with a small laugh. Hinata pouted at this and hit Oikawa in the shoulder " Hey that wasn't nice!!" Shoyo said with a huff as he then crossed his arms. " owww, jeez your becoming a mini iwa-chan " Oikawa joked a bit. Hinata didnt really understand the joke but shrugged it off  " so do you want me to try more serves or is it time to go back to the rest of the team?? " Shoyo asked as he looked up at Oikawa. " ITs time for group drills, basically we split up into groups of 3-4 people and have a 2v2 matches. " Oikawa answered. Shoyo's eyes brightened as he said this, getting even more excited " really?! That sounds like fun!! " Hinata said as he jumped up a little bit. Oikawa smiled " yep it is. Hmm ill be on your team, and we'll go against.. them " he said as he pointed to Yahaba and Iwaizumi. Hinata nodded with a smile, then going over to the other court with Oikawa. 

After Practice

Shoyo smiled as he lined up with the rest of the team, still by Oikawa's side. Soon the team was dismissed for the day, Shoyo soon walked over to the gym entrance to get his bag. " Hey, are you walking home shoyo?? " Oikawa asked as he turned over to Hinata. Shoyo nodded with a smile " yep!! i'm not exactly sure how to get to my house but my mom is at work so i have no other option. " Shoyo said as he let out a small sigh. " That doesnt sound safe Shoyo. How about i drive you to your house?? " Oikawa offered, knowing walking around this late at night not sure where to go was dangerous. Hinata smiled " Really?! Yes please. " he said as he bowed down a little bit. Oikawa smiled as he then started to walk out of the gym with Shoyo " My car is right over here " HE said as he walked through the parking lot. Soon they found Oikawa's car, Both of them got inside  " So where do you live?? " Oikawa asked as he turned on his gps. Hinata told Oikawa where he lived as he buckled up his seat belt.

Oikawa turned on the radio as he drove to Shoyo's house " Oh you don't live too far from me " he said as he parked in the street by Shoyo's house, " If you want i can drive you home the days your mom cant get you. " he offered as he opened the car door for Hinata. Shoyo smiled as he got out " that'd be great!! Thank you again Oikawa-San!!  " he said as he walked to his door. " Bye Oikawa! " Shoyo said as he gave Oikawa a quick hug and headed inside his house. After Shoyo shut the door Oikawa blushed a bit ' djfngj he just hugged me didn't he... why is he so adorable ' he thought to himself as he got into his car and drove away to his house. After Oikawa arrived home he laid on his bed, letting out a quick sigh. " Its no surprise that this is happening... i mean i had a tiny crush on Shoyo ever since our teams first crossed paths... now that hes on my team... my feelings are only gonna get harder to hide.. " Oikawa spoke to himself as he covered his face with a pillow, groaning a little bit. ' come on Oikawa.. be serious, there is no way someone like Shoyo would ever like you back ' he told him self in his head ' if he even liked guys , he'd probably like someone like that genius kageyama.. '

' and i'm definitely not a genius.. '

After a little bit, Oikawa decided to stop thinking about it, knowing he was probably being too hard on himself. Soon deciding to go to sleep.
