Today was the day. The day you have been waiting for, ever since he proposed.
Today you were getting married. To Leo Valdez. After being together for 3 years, the goofball finally had the courage to propose to you. He popped the question in a very romantic way. He had set up a picnic at the beach-one of your favorite places. He had cooked your favorite meal, brought your favorite drinks, and bought you a bouquet of your favorite flowers.
At sunset, he had presented you with a beautiful speech about how much he loved you and wanted to spend the rest of his life with you and only you. Then he got down on one knee and asked what most girls wish to be asked.
After a year of planning the day had finally come. You were in your dressing room waiting to walk down the aisle. You were nervous but you knew the people in the room loved you and wouldn't judge you for anything.
Your family and friends were here along with Leo's. You all got along very well so that wasn't an issue.
As you were making sure you looked presentable, your dad (or whoever) told you that it was time to walk down the aisle.
You were walking down and everyone gave you heartfelt looks. You glanced at Leo and he was smiling brightly with glossy eyes. You couldn't help but smile brighter.
Your dad lead you off so you could stand next to Leo. Leo then held your hands as the marriage officiant went through the usual sayings. (Sorry I don't know how weddings work lmao)
Then came the vows. Leo spoke first. He looked lovingly into your eyes and said, "Y/n, you have been by my side since we were kindergartners. You have somehow managed to not get tired of me, " you both chuckled, "You've been my best friend, girlfriend, and lover. Today you will become my wife and words cannot describe how thankful I am to have you in my life. I would miss out on all the things I love about you. From your beautiful h/l h/c to the adorable snort you do when you laugh too hard. I remember when we met and I made you laugh so hard applesauce flew out your nose, " he laughed again. You saw a single tear slide down his right cheek. "Y/n I promise I will treat you like the queen you are. Y/n L/n I will do anything and everything to make your life worth living. I love you."
By this point, you had tears streaming down your face. It was difficult for you to say your vows but you managed. Yours weren't nearly as good as Leo's but he cried when you were done so he felt something.
"Do you Leo Valdez, " the officiant started, "take Y/n L/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"Hell yeah I do!"
"And do you Y/n L/n, take Leo Valdez to be your lawfully wedded husband."
You nodded and smiled, "I do."
"Then you may kiss the bride."
You and Leo both leaned in and had the best kiss you ever had. It was short but sweet and showed all the love you had for each other.
As you both leaned away Leo whispered in your ear, "Siempre te amaré."
