This will have two endings.
(Y/n) pov
It was another boring day for you. No assigned activities, no chores, no nothing. Except for the fact that you had to help 2 boys pick strawberries. Why Chiron asked you specifically, you had no idea. Nevertheless, you still went to the strawberry field around noon.
It was sunny and hot. Not a great day to be picking strawberries, however you gotta do what you gotta do.
When you got to the field Percy was already there. He was sitting on a wooden stool holding a basket with only about 10 strawberries. Next to him, we're 2 other stools and baskets for you and Leo.
Percy heard you walking and looked up at you, "Oh, hey (y/n)! What's up?" You noticed his face turning red, but you assumed he was just hot due to the temperature outside.
"Eh, not much. Obviously getting ready to pick some strawberries,"you smiled at him and sat down on the stool next to him. Percy started fidgeting with a strawberry.
"Um, are you busy after this?" He stuttered.
You thought for a moment, "Not that I know of. Why do you ask?"
He cleared his throat, "Well, I was wonder-"
"Hey guys, don't start the picking party without me!" Leo yelled, cutting of Percy. Leo came running through the field to you and Percy.
You laughed, "Okay, Leo!"
Leo made his way to you and Percy and sat down on his wooden stool.
"So, what were you saying Percy?" You asked, picking a nice looking strawberry.
"Oh uh, I forgot. Sorry." He said seeming to find the back of his neck scratchy.
You frowned,"Oh, that's ok."
Leo looked at you and Percy confused. "(Y/n)" he started while you looked at him, "so, you know about the dance coming up?"
You nodded.
"Well, I was wondering if you, uh wanted to um..." You noticed his face started to turn red and his ears started to smoke.
"You ok, Leo?"
He nodded and kept picking strawberries.
"Are you going to finish the question?"
(Y/n) and Leo glanced at Percy questioningly.
Percy sighed and said nothing else.
...
A half-hour later, you, Leo, and Percy were just finishing up picking strawberries. As you stood up both boys asked the same question at the same time.
"Are you free tonight?" They both looked at each other. Then Leo tried to make himself seem taller than he actually is.
"Well, I already told Percy that I was so yeah, why?" You started making your way back to your cabin.
Percy bit his lower lip, "I think we both want to ask you to the dance because we both like you."
You didn't know what to say.
Leo ending
You thought of all the fun times you've had with Leo and the sleepovers you would have in bunker 9. Yeah, Percy was a great guy, but you were just closer to Leo.
"Look, I'm so sorry Percy. It's not that you're a bad guy. I just feel closer to Leo. So Leo yes I will go to the dance with you."
Leo smiled wide while Percy looked down. Then the latter just shrugged, "At least I have Jason." (Yes I ship Jercy. Don't hate me) He walked off to Cabin 1.
"Thank you for saying yes," Leo came over closer to you and wrapped you in his arms. "I really like you." He whispered in your ear.
You smiled, "I really like you too."
Percy ending
You immediately knew who to go with. Leo was kind of like a brother to you. He was your best friend, nothing more. You knew Percy ever since he came to camp for the first time.
"I'm so sorry Leo. I-"
"Nope," he interrupted, "it is ok. I'm Leo Valdez chica. I can easily find someone else. Don't sweat it." He pointed finger guns and winked at you then walked away.
Percy then picked you up in a hug then set you back down. "So does this mean you'll go with me?" He grinned.
"Of course, Ocean Eyes."
"I'm glad."
