Conan's POV

Something seemed off which Connor. Did this remind him of our parents death?

"Connor,what's wrong?"

"Nothing Conan," he said harshly.

I shrug it off because it seemed like he didn't want to be bothered right now. I don't want him to become more upset so I'll just leave him alone for the time being.

"The victims names were Karla and Charles Evans. They were a married couple for 3 years. No family of any kinds. We haven't found found any witnesses other than the landlord. She came over here because they haven't paid rent for a couple of weeks and she found the bodies," a young officer said. He seemed quiet cute if I must say. Eww shut up Conan. You're at work.

"We found fingerprints on one of the knives in the kitchen. We sent that in for analysis," he continued.

"Is that all?" I asked kind of impatiently. I don't know why we had to be called out here when we clearly could have waiting until morning. The bodies weren't going to go anywhere.

"Not exactly, we found traces of Cyanid in their systems. Seems like it was dated back to about 4 weeks ago." 4 weeks? They've been here for 4 WEEKS!

"The officers are confused as to why the victims were still stabbed 28 times when they clearly had Cyanide in their systems for way longer."

"Couldn't the murdered have come back? Ya know, just to stab them?" What is wrong with me tonight?

"They could have," The young officer answered back.

Connor didn't seem too pleased to be here. He scowled at everyone that walked by and didn't really do anything, which is understandable if you knew what we've been through.

"I know exactly who it was," Connor stated with confidence and some anger in his voice.

"Connor,don't," I look at him with pleading eyes.

"Shut up,Conan," he stared at me with his usually chocolate brown eyes. Now their just dull and lifeless.

"It was our aunt, Maya Clark." Oh come on Connor!

Fuck my life.
