After the Cullens left, we got Jacob settled into his room upstairs. I also got to talk with Aro, Caius, and Marcus.

" Hey, how are you all doing. And also, why are you here," I asked them after I had sent all the kids to go get ready for school.

" We wanted to visit you and the kids. Also, it was getting a bit boring and stuffy in Volterra so we thought we would get out for a while. We left the elite guard in charge." said Aro. He had become the father figure I so desperatly wanted. I could talk to him about anything. I honestly don't understand why the Cullen's didn't like the volturi that much. They were very kind me and the children. They became very well protected.

" Will you be returing to Volterra soon," I asked. I hoped they would stay a little while longer. It would be so nice to have them around. We probably wouldn't get to see them until it was the triplets birthday because of how busy we both got. We always made sure to spend their birthday with the volturi. It was always nice and relaxing.

" No, we'll leave in a couple of days. From the looks of it, you'll need us when you finally straighten everything with the Cullens out," said Caius. He may seem like the cruel, cold and careless ruler in the volturi but once you got past that mask he put up and got to the Caius reserved for only family and close friends, he was a great person to be around.

I then went to get dressed for school promising that we would be back right after school with the cullens so we could finally get this whole mess cleaned up with. The drive to school was uneventful to say the least. It was quiet, each of us lost in our own thoughts. As a pulled into the school parking lot, I saw the Cullen's cars already there, waiting for us. We got out of the car and made our way over to them.

" Meet us at our house after school, we'll talk and work things out from there," I said and then left before anything crazy could happen.

As I walked to class, I thought about everything going on.
I honestly didn't know how to feel about all the Cullen's. I had been able to burry the painful memories of them and I really didn't want to be involved with them ever again but the other part of me remembered all the great times I had with them. This part also reminded me that I still do love Edward.

I sighed, life had become very complicated in the last few days.

As I got to class I saw Anna was waiting for me. I sat down beside her just as the teacher walked in and began class. The day dragged on until it was finally time to  go home and prepare for the Cullen's.

As I got home, I went to the living room and saw that everyone else is already there. All my kids were sitting on one of the couches. Aro, Caius, and Marcus were sitting on the other couch and Juliet was sitting on a loveseat with Christian and Anna and Daniel were on the other.

"Okay, we are going to finally have this discussion without any interruptions okay,' I said. They all nodded. Just then the doorbell rang. I went to answer it and  saw the Cullen's standing in the front porch. " Come in," I said.

They came in and sat down on the rest of the furniture. "So, what else do you want to know," I asked from the recliner I was sitting in.

Alice asked ," Bella, how do you know the Volturi?"

" Alice, I know the Volturi because they are part of my family. They have been with me throughout my whole life helping me raise my kids," I said.

The Cullens looked surprised. I could understand where they were coming from, I mean the volturi were the most feared vampire coven in the world. They were known for their cruelness and selfishness.  I even heard rumors that Aro killed Marcus's mate Didyme because she convinced Marcus to leave the Volturi.  I know that isn't true though, Didyme wasn't Marcus real mate. She was an Italian whore who slept with every vampire that came to visit the Volturi. She was killed when she joined sides with the romans.   

Aro just told everyone he killed her so that vampires would know that nothing would stand in his way to make sure he stayed in power. Also, Marcus isn't depressed, he just isn't the most enthusiastic person out there.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the Cullen's ask me another question.

"So Bella,  we were wondering if maybe we could spend some time with the kids, to get to know them," said Esme. The rest of the Cullen's looked hopeful.

I looked at the kids. They all looked at me, and then to each other.  I could tell that Nessie really wanted to get to know them, Mase seemed unsure but it looked like he really wanted to get to know Emmett, and Tony looked like he really wanted to talk to Carlisle about all his different medical stories.

I said," it's fine by me if my children are okay with it."

" Ya, we can all get to know each other but don't expect us to be one big happy family just like that," he said while snapping his fingers.

They looked happy that the kids even agreed to meet them. I looked around when I suddenly felt the fire crawling up my throat. I realized I hadn't hunted for a long time. All the stress with the Cullen's made me forget. I was surprised I lasted so long around the humans.

"Well you guys get to know each other, I need to go hunting. So feel free to roam around the house," I said to them all. Then I ran out the door to go find a suitable meal to tame my thirst.
