Just like they had organised, the morning started with Kaycee's 'princess training'. Of course, it wasn't the greatest thing to do on a Monday morning seeing how miserable Kaycee was, but it had to be done.

'Relax your shoulders and keep your head up high' Andres encouraged, using gestures with every word.

'I'm trying' Kaycee huffed in annoyance, removing the book from her head and starting again. 'It's not easy, you know'.

Andres smiled apologetically, scratching the back of his neck. 'If a a princess is anything like a dancer, then she has to be confident with herself. You have to be confident when you walk. You have to trust yourself' Andres explained, fitting the book securely on the top of her head. 'You have to believe that you won't drop the book, and believe that you're the princess. Get in character'.

'I said I'm trying' Kaycee grumbled. 'It's hard'.

'I think I see your problem' Andres tapped his chin, pondering over his thoughts.

'Oh please enchant us with your thought' Kaycee said, relaxing her tense shoulders.

'All the previous princess. They were human-'

'No shit Sherlock. Didn't realise that they were human. I thought they're were animals' Kaycee scoffed, crossing her arms above her chest.

'Just listen. Princess Blanches and the previous princesses were all, princess' learning how to be human. Learning how to deal with emotions and pain through experiences. They were all somewhat well-off or rich. They didn't know the real struggles of the lower class. So to be a wise princess, to be a good one they had to learn to live with struggles, haven't you read  their books before? But you, you've already been through that. You've been through pain and grief. Now you, you're a human learning how to be a princess. You know what being a regular human feels like and therefore not allowing yourself to be the princess. Like Princess Blanches once said: in order to be loved by humanity you must feel compassion towards them and the only way to do that, is by living among them. This is to learn how precious human life is and feel the need to protect it'.

'Blah blah blah' Kaycee snapped, she was definitely not interested in what he had to say. However, Andres was more than shocked and angry that she had just shrugged off a deep and powerful message he had said.

'I think he might be onto something, Kayc' Sean spoke up.

'Let me do me. I don't need help' she rebuked.

'Okay then, why don't we try something else then?' Charity giggled awkwardly. After yesterday's spill of truth, awkwardness had filled their usual joyful atmosphere. And no one seemed to want to talk about it.

'Please' Kaycee groaned, slamming the book on the hard, wooden table. Andres flinched at the booming sound, smiling as genuinely as possible.

'Let's try walking courtesly' Charity suggested, yawning loudly with her mouth open.

'You're not exactly lady-like yourself' Kaycee mumbled, shaking her head due to the fact that amateurs were trying to teach her something that they didn't even know themselves.

'Maybe, but I actually learned society's behavioral norms and all. I know what a princess should act like, i just choose not to follow it' Charity shrugged. If she was offended by Kaycee's previous comment then she surely didn't show it.

Kaycee mumbled something incoherent under her breath, copying Charity as she bowed down with her skirt pinched in each finger.

'Maybe try plastering a smile on your face and... deepen the bow. There you go' Charity suggested, tapping her finger on her chin. Kaycee smiled widely, her smile sort of not he cutest.
