Tuesday.

'Walk. Walk. Bow, courtesy. Smile. Wave' Andres instructed, adding yet another book on top Kaycee's head. She wobbled a little but quickly regained balance, walking to the other side of the room as elegantly as possible. 'That was pretty perfect'.

'Good job, Kayc' Sean smiled, patting a spot beside him.

'Kaycee's a princess' Charity giggled, crawling over to sit by her.

'That is if we knew what the other tests at the princess exam would be' Andres sighed. 'I had asked Auntie Sophie last week, but she didn't have a clue. Only insiders know'.

'Then we'll just ask Serris herself'Charity pointed out.

'What?! Are you crazy? We're not going to ask her. She'll think we're onto her' Kaycee gasped, flailing her arms around the place.

'Kayc, it would be helpful.' Sean murmured, taking her hand and rubbing his thumb over it.

'Nah uh. No away' Kaycee shook her head, her hair smacking Sean right in the face.

'Seriously, Kayc. It'll be fine. We're not even sure it's 100% you. Serris won't mind' Sean consoled, removing the hair tie that was on her wrist and tying her hair up in a low ponytail. 'Just think about it'.

And with that, silence filled the room. It wasn't complete silence, it was just that no one was talking. Charity and Andres had moved to a different side where they began playing checkers and Sean and Kaycee sat in each other's warmth, silently admiring the content they felt being with other.

'You're going to be a princess' Sean murmured, leaning his head onto her shoulder.

'You don't know that for sure' Kaycee denied, taking his hand and tracing random letters and shapes on it.

'You're my princess' he smiled, watching how her fingers stopped for a quick second before they resumed moving on his hand.

'T-thanks?' Kaycee replied uncertainly, giving Sean's hand a squeeze. 'I guess you're my princess too' she joked, earning a little chuckle from the boy.

'Hey guys!' A chirpy, female voice brought them back to reality, the wardrobe doors opening wide.

'Goddamnit' Sean mumbled, shaking his head in displeasure.

'Deprived of Kaycee time?' Serris teased, poking Sean's foot with her left hand. Kaycee bit her lip pretending that she didn't enjoy the reaction coming from Sean. He tried to reply, but all air had left his lungs and he was a stuttering mess.

'Anyways, how are you guys doing? Sarah's coming over in a bit to bring food. Hope you're not too hungry' she smiled, squeezing inside.

'We're good' Charity answered, walking over hand in hand with Andres. 'I actually have a question for you, though'.

Kaycee glared at the blonde, as if she knew what she was going to ask. She pinched her elbow, laughing awkwardly to stop her from doing so.

'You know for your coronation and the princess exam. What are like the tests, you know?' Charity questioned, her face normal and not the slightest bit nervous. Kaycee gasped, letting out a scoff and crossing her arms above her chest.

'Just some boring walking. Courtesy. Bowing. Waving. Elgantly sitting, which I think is just straight up stupid. And the hardest one in my opinion dancing' Serris explained. 'Why are you asking?'

'No reason, just wondering. Just wanted to know what a lady has to do to be crowned princess' Charity shrugged, ignoring Kaycee's continuous glares. 'What kind of dancing is it?'.
