Knock. Knock. Knock.

The morning started with three knocks coming from the door. Sean was ready to pounce on Andres, Kaycee looked scared for dear life and Charity was biting her lip until blood shot out as she prayed that Sean wouldn't catch her for agreeing to welcome a stranger into their room.

'Come in' Andres greeted, taking the bag from the young but older than them lady. The lady was clearly a naturally smiley perosn like Kaycee. Her fluffy aura calming down the teens and allowing them to relax a teeny bit as they scanned over her features.

She was wearing black leggings, a small thin layered coat which probably didn't keep the cold out in the cold spring weather. Her hair was long, casting past her shoulders as they bounced with every step she took. Her eyes vaguely reminded Sean of his mom, dark and bright, as if they were carrying the whole universe.

'Hi kids' she smiled, settiling down her bags on the table. 'I hope it's not a problem with me staying here'.

The three were quick to shake their head no, brushing off her comment while secretly throwing daggers at Andres.

'I can't belive I finally get to see Kaycee' she cooed, pulling her hand out of her pockets to reveal a diamond ring on her finger.

'Me? You know me?' Kaycee asked, taking a step backwards.

'Ah, don't be silly. Alex has told me far too much about you. It'd be more than weird for me not to know who you are' she giggled, raising her arms as she tied her hair up. At this, Kaycee sped forward,  smiling like an idiot at the mention of his name.

'You know Alex?' She questioned, amzed at how much more beautiful she was closer up.

'Oh deary me. I should have introduced my self first. I'm Arielle'.

The name seemed familiar to Kaycee, as she repeated the name over and over again in her head to find out the similarity, the memory of her name.

'Alex's fiancé' she finished, holding out her hand for Kaycee to see.

'Oh my' Kaycee gasped, gripping the lady's hand and focusing on the shiny, diamond ring.

'We got engaged years ago, been nearly 11 years now...' she started to explain her story, propping herself to sit on top of the table. Kaycee nodded her head for her to continue as everyone gathered around them.

'Alex proposed to me. The most beautiful human born to mankind. But I don't think it was meant to be atleast not at that time. Will, Alex's brother had us separated, due to me being part of the lower economy class. And we didn't really get the opportunity to see each other much after that. I always kept my ring on though, I knew that one day there'd be us. Anyways, we went on with our own lives until we coincidentally met at a farmer's market. It was meant like love at first sight all over again. Alex and told me all about you, Kaycee. You're such a big part of his life.' She explained, causing tears to cloud the brunette's eyes.

'We talked for a long time, and Alex finally asked if I'd join the Lew residence as a helper. Of course, I declined. I wanted nothing to do with Will and being his slave. So I rejected his offer, and we separated paths again. It was only about a week ago when I read the headlines about Alex being deemed dead. I was heartbroken, my first and forever love gone. So after hours of thought, I decided to join the residence here, knowing it was what Alex had wanted. It felt weird, let me tell you. Will and Cheuk always seemed...off from everybody else. It felt like they were plotting behind everyone's back. But I was eventually assigned the job of being the cater lady and then got downgraded to being the 'feed the enemies,' like Will had said. Of course, I was confused, who the enemy was, but I was at a loss for words when I discovered it was Alex. God, it tore me to see him like that but I couldn't do much about it. He was bound to chains.' She sniffled, wiping her nose with the end of her sleeve.

'That's terrible' Sean spoke softly, rubbing Kaycee's back for some sort of comfort.

'Wow' Charity croaked out, choked with tears.

'Now, I'm just happy to see this little bean' she laughed, smiling down at Kaycee as if she was her own daughter. Boy, did Kaycee wish that she was. 'We should go see Alex together'.

'Uh-um... I don't think that's a good idea. We might get caught' Kaycee whispered, smiling at Sean.

'Oh, sorry right. Andres did tell me that. Sorry' Arielle consoled. 'I'll be sure to tell him your well wishes though'.

'Thank you' Kaycee mumbled, fiddling with her fingers.

'Now that I've finally met the love of Alex's life, I should get back to work' she joked, rolling up her sleeves and wiping her eyes.

Charity and Kaycee nodded their heads, Andres leading Arielle back to the door before Sean spoke up.

'Wait-what's with Alex and Will? What's their story?' He asked, the anticipation eating him alive. Arielle giggled, covering her mouth with one hand as she waved Sean off dismissively.

'That's their story to tell' she smiled, before closing the door as she left.

'Damn. Wasn't expecting that' Charity breathed out, sitting down on the table and biting into an apple.

'Me neither' Kaycee said sadly, leaning her head on Sean's shoulder for support.

'It'll be okay. We'll see Alex. I promise you. He's alright' Sean comforted, tilting her chin up to meet her eyes. 'Everything will work out'. Their eyes met momentarily before they flickered to each other's lips, and slowly started leaning in.

'Gross. Get a room. Can't you see I'm here' Charity laughed, pretending to cover her mouth and  barf.

'Oh my God, fuck you' Sean shouted, glaring at the blonde and rolling his eye vigorously. 'You and your stupid timing', he screamed before chasing after the blonde around the room, leaving a flustered Kaycee giggling.
