The next morning began with the usual groans from the kids and teasing from Sean. As per usual, Arielle had left early to go to finish her duties in the house and Andres was packing up to leave right after.

'That was a good nights rest' Charity yawned, her blonde hair sticking to her face. 'I could do that again'. The teens all laughed at her, rolling their eyes as Sean numbly stood up and attempted to walk around with pins and needles in his legs.

'I'm never doing that again' Sean joked, shaking out his legs and arms. 'Look who's already up' he chuckled, when Kaycee exited the bathroom with her teeth brushed and hair tied up.

'Couldn't sleep' she mumbled, rubbing her restless eyes as she stuffed a piece of paper in her back pocket. 'Arielle's got me messed up'.

'Don't blame her, she was just trying to help.' Andres rolled his eyes, fixing a towel on his shoulder with the pleated side facing down. 'She didn't expect us to freak out over it'.

'Well we did. And now I'm scarred for life. Great' Kaycee responded, no sign of happiness laced in her voice which caught the attention of all teens.

'Well, I'm going to get going. Hate to keep Will waiting' Andres shrugged his shoulder, buttoning up the last button on his shirt before he proceeeded to leave the room.

'Wait-' Kaycee yelled, she hastily ran behind him, opening up his hands as she pulled out the folded paper Iin her pockets and stuffed it in his hands. 'If you're going to see Alex, please give this to him' she whispered, only for Andres to hear. He nodded his head, smiling apologetically at the brunette before leaving for real this time.

'What was that?' Sean asked, as Kaycee closed the door quietly.

'Nothing' she mumbled, walking straight past him with a frown plastered on her face.

'Tell me, I want to know' Sean argued, holding onto her hand and bringing her to meet him face to face.

'You'll know soon enough... I hope' she muttered, sighing as she hugged him quickly and walked to the peep hole, waiting for anyone to enter the room.

'You alright, Kaycee?' Charity questioned, kneeling down beside her.

'I'm fine, really. I just need some time to process everything. Don't you guys realise how bad everything is right now? If Will really did...k-kill Blanches then I think I want to leave. I don't want stay here' she explained, licking her lips.

Andres filled a bucket with water, holding onto the rusty handle as he briskly walked to Alex's room, with Kaycee's note in his front pocket.

'You're late' Auntie Sohpus t'sked, shaking her head at the boy. He mumbled a quick 'sorry', walking at a faster pace as the bucket began feeling heavier and heavier, and slowly weighed him down.

'Nearly there' he muttered, standing out side the room and dropping the bucket. 'Phew' he sighed, wiggling his red fingers and tense muscles. Slowly, he opened the big barracked door, making a stern face as he lifted the bucket of water once again.

'Andres, good to see you, son' Alex chirped, still bound to chains, but he was on his knees now, rather than standing up.

'Good morning, Alex. How are you?' He asked, pouting some water into a glass and helping Alex drink it up.

'Good, actually. Cheuk came here last night and for some reason didn't say anything to me. No punishment. Got off lucky' Alex smiled, water dripping from his grubby chin. His hair was now dangling in front of his eyes, it being too long as Alex occasionally shook his head to push it back.
