I stuck my tongue out at Alastor, while I'm behind Val. At that moment, there is a quiet atmosphere. Alastor just smiled as usual, while his left eye is twitching must be annoyed. " I didn't expect you... To be here" Alastor said, trying to be calm as usual.
"Neither am I, Val meet Alastor. The radio host of New Orleans. One of the best" I introduce , and stood up where I seated. Val shake hands with Alastor, "Now, boys. I'll excuse myself because I have a tea party with my neighbors." Val nodded and stare at me. "Behave yourself, all right?" I shot an eye contact at Alastor, gesturing to refrain from murdering.
Alastor understood the gesture, and grin widely. "Well, of course, my darling! anything you said" he said cheerfully, which I got shiver a little. Boy, his smile is covering it all up. I took my hat and head out, Val waved but ignored. After the door slammed, Alastor pat him on the shoulders and drag him to his seat again. " Since, (y/n) is gone for awhile. Why won't you tell me the story about how you met her" he proposed.
" Tell me how you met her too, host. It ain't fair, If I didn't get you story tho'" he sarcastically said, Alastor grinned darkly at what he said. " patience, she'll grew tired of you" he though to himself.
*Walking on the block*
"Oh my! Ms. Morningstar, pleasure to meet you. You look enchanting as always" the woman said, I smugly smirk and return the compliment her too.
"Well, much honor to join in. Ms. Karen" she giggled, then Ms.Karen surprisingly hold my wrist and drag me to the other room. In a room, there's a table set up and bunch of ladies. There, she cleared her throat and makes an announcement.
" y/n, meet my friends!! Rosie, Meiko, and Mary" I waved and they return the greetings, I sat down beside them and for a moment I was dazed. Thinking Alastor might do to him, Noooppeee!! I'm not concerned nor worried, just imagining the mess he might cause... The stench and the blood, god their nightmares to remove.
Then what am I feeling? The emotion feels new to me, I never experience before. The feeling is...Unsettling, yet can't get him out of my mind. "Your majesty?... Yoohoo??" Meiko called, then looking directly at my face. I was startled, "are you alright, your majesty? You seemed concerned about something?" Rosie asked worriedly.
I smiled to re-assure then took a sip of tea before talking. " funny, isn't it? One of the demons who I set free is now living a good life in the human world but can't herself" , "don't say that, if you haven't help us. We might haven't -" Mary was cut by a honk kf a car outside.
The car kept on honking and calling out someone from us, until we all come out to see. Nothing but, Valentino. Dressed well with a fedora, leaning at the car while swirling the keys.
"Mamma mia!! No wonder you're daze, you must be fantasizing about him!" I nudge my elbow at Mary, who kept on laughing. "What are you doing here?" I mouthed, "lets stroll,got things I want to show you" he replied and went near to take my hand, gently and warmly. This is...New?
