In a restaurant, Val had manage to get a vip lounge just for the two of us in a balcony.
Both of us ordered steaks and wine. While waiting,I take a sip and Val tries to break the silence.
" so uhm.. What's your life story? "
I finish my sip and look at him hateful.
" what's it for you? " "Nothing. I just wanted to know you better that's all"
I didn't respond and took another sip, Val sigh and sad about it
"I was an outcast..." I said without stutter and he quickly gaze at me.
"my superior are mad because I help and battle alongside my brother who rebelled against them and started a huge fight. Hence, threw me off like some piece of garbage after the contributions I've done for them. " I continued.
"therefore I am , turned to someone who'll torture the sinners for eternity for the crime they committed" I finished, Val whistle in amusement at my story.
"that's some sad and badass story. You've been through hell " Val stated
"literally and figuratively. Val" I mocked and look outside the window. I quickly frowned, as memories flash backs in a matter of seconds. Feels like new to me everytime.
"My turn.. " he announced, "My Father is brothel owner while I'm his only child. To keep the business running, I must marry a woman to a another owner to keep a unification of the two families. "
"Sounds stupid, I bet she's hot" I wondered, glancing at him."Helluva hot, but crazy at the same time. Plus, she tried woo me but I reject in every way as possible" he cheered.
"and why? "raising my brow. "I found someone for me, that night as she looks at me for the first time. Her posture seems cold but her eyes flutter many emotions"
"like?" "like love, she yearns for someone to accept her, to connect with"
"tch! You've got to be kidding me.How can you say thay to someone. What is love anyway to you mortals? " I protest, Val looks around and point at someone on the other table.
"You see that? A person loves her just the way she is. Laughing, smiling, chatting with her. They can be true to one another" As I look at the couple, they were genuinely happy with each other.
"Okay, love expert. I get your point"Val laughs at the sarcastic joke, I started giggling too at myself.
Music started playing, and everyone is grooving at this romantic music. It feels like just the two of is whilst listening to it.
Val reached out my hand, and trued dragging me on the dance floor as I hold the chair for dear life. "let go of the chair, I just want to dance with you that's all!"
"I dont know idiot, no one has ever wanted to dance with me! "
"then let me teach you"
I look up to him and his eyes were sincere, as I let go he brought me to the middle of the dance floor and started swaying me.
"There you go, just feel the rhythm Y/N" he said softly beside my ear, getting chills at his hot breath.
After a few minutes, I completely lost myself. Val started spinning me around while singing the chorus of the song. Giggling cutely while were spinning together then holding my waist quickly and taking the whole dance floor. Forgotten completely that there are people watching.
"Hey I didnt know you have a beautiful voice. Can you sing for me someday? " Val poutly asked
"Well, I will owe you for teaching me to dance. One day... "
Then he firmly holds my hand tighter and said "I'll wait for it"
