As the suns ray hit my face, I opened my eyes slowly to look at it. "Goddam it's morning already?" As sit up, wearing Val' shirt. Now that I remember the view, the sun, how long has it been did I see this peaceful. All I can see is nothing but red, the blood , the motto. He may not admit his favorite but I'm certain it's red as I remember Lucifer threatening someone for replacing the curtains purple instead maroon.
Flashback POV
"How dare you defied me!" Lucifer yelled as his voice turn into distorted tone.
"Why the hell would you put purple on my castle!?"
"I-I'm sorry sire s-sir, I'll replace them right now" the demon servant said frightened.
"You better unless you want to be the one hanging in there as drapes"
"You really love red don't you?" I teased
Lucifer turned to me, still eyes red from frustration. "Since where did you get that idea, sister dear?"
"Ooh I don't know.... The kingdom, the castle, surroundings. It's hard to notice. I heard red makes everything sexy"
"I never like the color red, the surrounding happen to be all red! I like color yellow like the sun."
"Like nearly blinding you for staring at it too much." "You know liars go to hell" I sip my tea

It was his pride that get in the way of admitting, I slide to the other side of the bed to feel it empty. "Val?" I looked at my surroundings to see all of his clothes gone. I figured ,did he left... Me? No, why the hell would I care! I'am one of the coldest demons in hell. This is nothing. I stood up wearing my proper clothes and come down from the stairs. I was all alone,, so this is what my brothers felt after we're cast out. Eerily quiet but life goes on and ready my coffee with bread, eating alone.
Then...
"I can't sleep last night because of the squeak and tumble sounds last night. Would you please do when I'm not here, you're disturbing my sleep"
"Then you should have close your ears. It's not my fault you were paying attention to the sounds" A familiar voices argued while it get closer. "This is my house! Of course I know every part of it. Her bedroom is below mine, so I know well" I looked back and see Val and Alastor entering the kitchen. "Lo and behold, is this an illusion or a miracle that you two are getting along each other" "Ha! This young insolent man can't cook but wanted to for your sake. So he turned to me for my help in making jambalaya!" Alastor proudly said.
"Yeah, yeah, mock all you want oldie.." Val insulted back, The three of us stood quiet. "SOoo you heard it?" I try to avoid Alastor's gaze, " All night... Because of you two" he said with noticeable black eye bags. I didn't say but deep down I was embarrassed. I ready our breakfast and eat.
"Y/n.." Val called lowly, I turned to him and gave me a house key. "Uhh. is this a spare key to Alastor's house?" Val chuckled and nod in disagreement. "Nooo, this is the key to our house. The spare to be specific."
"I talked to a realtor about the house for sale nearby, luckily Alastor being the chatter box in the station happened to have connection in housing." Val continued "So with the last week I just temporarily stay here. 'til the contract is settled"
"We got a house on our own, isn't that wonderful?" "And finally some peace. I think 'll remember that until my death". My mind flash with thoughts, he wants to settle? Yeah, he did confess will that reverse if he finds out I'm the Duke of hell, ruling alongside lucifer?
Val scooch closer to my face in teased, "You're overthinking" "Where did you get the money? from your father?" I changed the topic. Val sighed and smiled, "You think of me lowly, I have my ways in the underworld."
"We leave here in afternoon, to move our things there" Val blushed, "What are blushing about?" My inner tsundere is back " come on, val" "Ahem.." Alastor interrupted. Opps my apologies, I forgot about you. My brother's contractor.
