Your day was pretty uneventful, you made it through all your classes ok and managed to avoid the introductions which is a plus. All in all, you felt like today was going to be pretty much incident free, ya know the worst thing that could happen to you at this point was tripping over your shoelaces or some other trivial crap. This was until you made to your second break.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?~"
You knew that mocking voice all too well, it was Michiko. Without even looking up you could tell she was wearing her signature condescending smirk, the same one she'd been wearing since day one. She, and the rest of her little cliche were the very people who made your life a living hell. They where the exact reason you moved to this school, you thought they were going to the very pretentious private school a few streets away. Their families were awfully rich so it would make sense they would go some where prestigious. "I know full well you recognize me, I mean unless you're as blind as you are bitchy then it should be pretty obvious. I haven't changed much over the course of... a few months" you hated being rude but she got on your nerves so much that-.. it's no excuse to be rude you just couldn't help yourself.
She scoffed as she looked down at you, it wasn't hard considering she was pretty tall for her age. You wouldn't be surprised if she was held back more then once seeing as she refuses to 95.6% of her work. "Oh, looks like the nerd's sticking up for herself!~ I suggest you cut the shit, bitch. I'd hate to have to teach you another lesson, you know those can get pretty brutal~" she cooed, getting way to close to your face. You shudder, getting your shoulder dislocated isn't the most pleasant experience after all.
"W-what are you even doing here in the first place? I-I thought you were going that fancy shmancy private school or some thing... I didn't think your parent's would let you step foot in a place like this. Not that it's bad, you guys are just really s-stuck up." All the courage you had left just like your dad, it could be heard in your voice. She laughed at this pitiful display, getting spit on your face in the process. "It's call Soumei, and you'd be right in your assumption. We're only here for 'mandatory community service', you'd be insane to think i'd go to school with commoners like you!" you looked at her, your distaste clearly visible and your fear more then palpable "Y-you're acting like we d-didn't go to the same elementary school..."
She looked at you with that same trade mark smirk "Yeah, It was unfortunate... I mean being in the same class as a villain, it's not the best reputation." this earned a few snickers and wary glances from her posse. You froze, the first time you're seeing her in how many weeks? And she's already playing the Villain card. "Hey!" You jumped out of your seat so fast the chair fell backwards, this startled every one including your self. "L-look.. I'm sorry but you can't just go around calling people v-villains. I-it's rude.." You cursed your self for stuttering. It was all so dumb I mean were on the verge of tears, and for what? You felt so useless.. and you were. You weren't strong enough to put up a fight, it was all your fault.
It was all your fault for being weak
It was your fault you couldn't look them in the eye
It was your fault you were a villain
These three quirks were nothing to be proud of
You were cursed
Nothing but a lowly monster
You were a villain
Before you could drift any further down self loathing lane you were ripped from your thoughts, very rudely may I add, by a searing pain felt on both your arms. You looked down and saw that Michiko was not only harshly gripping the exposed skin on your forearms but that she was also making sure they were cooked through. She was using her fire quirk to essential melt your skin off. Not a second later, the pain hit you like a train, you would've fell to your knees if she wasn't holding you up right. "I should just kill you know. The world doesn't need another villain." she said, glaring at you, her smirk all but absent from her face "Be careful, she'll turn you in to a puppet!" some one said in a mocking tone, all the while you stayed quite. The pain isn't the pain you would scream from.
There's a point were pain becomes so unbearable that you can't even scream, you just shut down, unable to move, talk, cry, beg for mercy or even think straight. The heat of the white flames scorching your skin, the smell of burnt flesh in the air.. it was safe to say you were already past that threshold. The pain.. It didn't phase any one to see you like that, crying but unable to scream, unable to stand... and in some strange way, you enjoyed it. She was right, the world didn't need another villain. The people didn't need another menial criminal walking around... you should give up. It would be easier for everyone if you would just succumb to the flame... let it take over. The world would be so much better if you weren't in it..
"Hey sunshine, I- (Y/N)! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!"
