Jennette's whimpers going unheard, unable to leave her closed up throat, tears leaking from her bloody disgusting gem eyes-gem eyes that she hadn't come into in the womb- the picture of a lovely princess, and yet, no one in the room, not even in the immediate vicinity, saw her in that way.

They all knew, something was terribly wrong with how this so called princess was acting in front of their majesties.

Jennette had wanted her father's attention, but this wasn't what she wanted! The [Coercion] potion should have worked almost immediately, why weren't there any effects?

Not even a little more niceness from her father towards her as a daughter- as a princess of his family?

A premonition befell her as she felt herself shrink into herself, wanting to burrow 6 feet under and just stay there for all eternity.

Athanasia couldn't help but feel delighted at his fury, wanting to laugh then and there, but she refrained, keeping to the task at hand. It was her turn now.

Finding it quite easy to let the tears run down her face, she quietly asked Jennette, "..W-why...Jennette?"

She took in a wavering breath, the other people in the room wanting to rush to her side to comfort their lovely princess as she sobbed in front of them. "Why did you try to poison us, Jennette?"

Athanasia's shoulders shook, hunching over as papa held her hand, as he added to her question.

Jennette's eyes widened in complete shock- what poison? Didn't she buy the potions for most of her silver, there was no way she had gotten the labels mixed up-!

Jennette didn't know anything, that it was cyanide?- and she found her lips were able to move at last, but they were turning blue from the cold that settled over the room, and despite the throbbing of her legs from the tea, she hurriedly tried to make amends to the rapidly changing situation.

Pointless effort on her part, Athanasia, bemused, hid her smile in her papa's shoulder, her shoulders shaking from her silent laughter that most misinterpreted as sobbing.

"Fath- your majesty please believe me! I bought a [Coercion] potion, not poison! I don't understand how this could have happened I swear-!"

Felix's sword made a shiing as he partially unsheathed it, ready to finally cut down the traitor to the Crowns of Obelia.

Jennette realized her mistake too late, for she should have kept her mouth shut. Athanasia felt the goddess Nike was showering golden ribbons and flowers down upon her as she started to cry for real, continuously wiping her eyes as tears kept falling.

A terrifying bloodlust wrapped around the emperor that sat there, if one drew near- their teeth would have shattered in their mouth from the immense pressure that emanated from his body.
