Nurse: Jughead Jones
Jughead*wakes up* Yes me? *runs over* is she okay?
Nurse: I'm glad to say the surgery was successful
Jughead*exhales*
Nurse: but I need to talk to you about something
Jughead: okay
Nurse: she suffered a far more severe head injury then we thought. She's going to have major memory loss
Jughead*his eyes welling with tears* what
Nurse: I'm sorry, she's gonna have to learn everything again. She may start to remember things, when seeing familiar things that spark memories
Jughead: so she doesn't remember anything?
Nurse: we don't know what she does or does not remember, would you like to see her?
Jughead*nods*
Nurse: this way *takes him to her room*

**in her hospital room
Jughead*looks at betty* oh betts
Nurse: I will leave you alone *walks away
Jughead: Betty I'm so sorry, I wouldn't have let you go if I had known*sits in the seat beside her* I will do anything to help you*kisses her hand* I love you

*nurse comes back in
Nurse: Mr.Jones
Jughead*looks up* yeah?
Nurse: mrs.topaz is asking for you
Jughead*kisses bettys hand* I will be right back betts* gets up*
Nurse*smiles* this way

**in Toni's room
Jughead*standing at the door* Hey Topaz
Toni*turns her head and smiles* Yo Jones
Jughead*pulls a chair beside her bed* So
Toni: how is Cheryl?
Jughead: last I heard she's stable and Veronicas awake
Toni: what about Betty?
Jughead*looks down*
Toni*sits up* Jughead what about Betty? Where is she? Is she okay?
Jughead: she umm she had broken ribs and shoulder and knee
Toni: oh god
Jughead: also she had a head injury and it's really bad Toni *starts tearing up*
Toni*reaches over to hugs him* what's wrong?
Jughead: they don't know what she will be able to remember, it's really bad memory loss
Toni*tears falling down her face* she's gonna be okay, I know so. She's Betty freaking cooper, nothing could ever change that. Not really
