**at the hospital
Nurse*knocks on the door*
Jughead*wakes up* oh sorry do I need to leave?
Nurse: no hun your fine, I'm happy someone is here with this sweet girl*goes to check Bettys vitals*
Jughead: how is she doing like actually?
Nurse: Hon she's doing much better, that's actually why I came
Jughead*looks at her*
Nurse: they want to start physical therapy with her
Jughead: really? Last night she couldn't even stand
Nurse: it's gonna be a lot of work
Jughead: what about her memory? Is she getting better?
Nurse: well whenever she's with you, she seems to have unusually high brain function, has she told you about anything? Memories?
Jughead: no, but she never wants me to leave
Nurse*smiles* if someone cared about me like you do about her, I wouldn't want you to leave
Jughead: thanks
Nurse*wakes Betty up* hey sweetie
Betty: hi
Nurse: I'm just checking up on you, after all you are my favorite patient. Don't tell the others *smiles*
*nurse leaves*

Jughead: Betty can I ask you a question?
Betty*nods*
Jughead: have you had any memories?
Betty: what's a mem-or-ies?
Jughead: a memory is like remembering something that happened, good or bad
Betty: umm maybe
Jughead: why didn't you tell me?
Betty: cause I didn't know too
Jughead: so what did you remember?
Betty: I remember Cheryl and Toni, we were at this place talking and then we had to go to something called class. Oh and one about you
Jughead: me?
Betty: yeah I was in someplace, called the blue and gold. I locked the door and said I couldn't trust you
Jughead*grimaces*
Betty: can I trust you?
Jughead: yes Betty you can, I promise. We just had a fight that time, that's all

**a few hours later
*in physical therapy
Betty*trying to stand with help* Jughead it hurts
Physical therapist: just hold it for 30 more seconds
Betty: Jughead please its hurting me *almost falls*
Jughead*gets up* stop stop, that's enough*grabs Betty and helps her into her wheelchair*
Physical therapist*getting angry* mr.jones I understand you wanting to help or even why you chose to be here but please let me take care of her
Jughead: she was in pain, you heard her
Physical therapist: fine we will try again tomorrow
Jughead*smirks* good, we will see you tomorrow*wheels Betty out of there*

**in her room
Betty*watching tv* Jughead what's a crash?
Jughead*looks up from book*
News: 4 ladies hit by truck. 1 fatalities, 1 suffered major injury, 2 minor
Jughead*grabs remote and turns it off* it's nothing Betty
Betty: what happened to me?
Jughead: you were in that crash*points at Tv
Betty: that was me?
Jughead: yeah you were driving
Betty: who are the other girls?
Jughead: Toni, Veronica and Cheryl. They've been your best friends for a long time
Betty: are you still my boyfriend? I don't ever wanna lose you, you don't want to lose me, right?
Jughead: Betty you will never lose me and if you want me to be your boyfriend then I will, it's up to you

Betty*walks into her room* shit my head hurts
Jughead*leans against the door* knock knock
Betty: Hey Jug
Jughead: I need to talk to you about that kiss
Betty*stays quiet*
Jughead: I love you betty, I never ever stopped. I've watched you create a amazing life and I thought maybe you were better off but I'm wrong. Betty*walks over to him and kisses him*

**back to her room
Betty: what's a kiss?
Jughead: it's a way of showing affection when you love someone
Betty: do you love me?

Jughead: I didn't think you would want that, I mean you don't remember us the way I can
