Haru X Daisuke. This is my first fanfiction.

Haru was as always not ready to be paired with Daisuke Kambe for another mission. Daisuke didn't care about anything except finishing his job anyhow.
Haru could never shoot anyone ever again. Even today while heading to the crime scene with Daisuke in his car, Haru kept on thinking about it. 'I was kicked out of the First Division because I shot that woman', Haru mumbled. Daisuke heard Haru's mumbling.
"Can you please stop mumbling? It's getting on my nerves!", Kambe said in a rather calm voice.
"What the hell, Daisuke? What's your problem?", Haru shouted unreasonably. Daisuke didn't let his anger out but sped his car to the maximum. Daisuke didn't like Haru thinking about the sin/crime he committed. He couldn't see Haru sad. 'STOP THE CAR', Kambe heard Haru say.
"Don't be such a spoiled kid, Katou ?", Kambe smirked. That Damn Smirk drove Haru crazy. Haru kept silent. He didn't want to start arguing again.
When they reached the crime scene, there were already two dead bodies. The murderer had taken a hostage who was the daughter of the two who had been murdered. Kambe and Haru were too late.
The first Division had strictly prohibited the Modern Crime Unit to stay out of the matter. Kambe felt that it was his fault for arriving late. Haru thought, if I hadn't made a fuss while Kambe was driving, we would've arrived faster.
It was the first time for Kambe to arrive late at a job. He felt sad for the 5-year-old girl who had lost her parents. Kambe stared at Haru for a minute straight. Haru knew what he was thinking. CAPTURE THE MURDERER.
"HEUSC, prepare for battle", Kambe ordered his AI butler. He exchanged glances with Haru once more. The battle has started. In half a minute there was smoke in that place. Haru immediately rushed to save the little girl. Kambe landed a perfect Roundhouse kick. In a few seconds, the man was down. Kambe seized his gun and put him under arrest. Once again, the First Division was under the debt of the Modern Crime Unit.
After everything was over the chief of the First Division called Haru and Daisuke to his office.
"Now we're done for, Daisuke-kun",
Haru said, half-teasingly. Daisuke ignored him.
"May we come in, sir?" Haru said while knocking, to which the chief replied with a stern YES. In a moment, the two inspectors stood Infront of the chief. They had proper manners and didn't slightly bend even for a moment. Chief broke the silence, "I called you two today to tell you something very important." Haru and Daisuke looked at each other at the same time and they averted their eyes at the same time. Both blushed.
"The girl you two saved that day is an orphan now. She doesn't even have an extended family. No family or friends either, her parents were also orphans. She's five and her name is Haruka. That's the only information I have. And she seems to like Haru a lot. So the thing I would like to bestow Haru the responsibility of taking care of this child", said the chief politely. Kambe looked at Haru and smirked.
The chief was not done yet. He further added, "And Daisuke Kambe, I would like you to assist Haru in taking care of the child".
"But...chief, why do we.. have to?"Haru implied, averting his eyes, '' What I mean is... You can send her to an orphanage!"
"Because she needs security. No further questions. Dismissed", Chief finished.
Haru and Kambe were out of the room in no time. They stared at each other for a minute straight. And left the department. Both of them had no choice but to fulfil the order they were given.
