Suzue had arrived there as the two adult men had to go to work. Haruka kissed the two men who were departing for work. "Work hard, Mommy, Daddy"
"Etto, Haru-chan. Call me Papa. It sounds better", said Daisuke and started leaving. He didn't want to make her sad. But the main reason why he didn't want to be called Mommy is that Suzue and Haru were gonna tease him his whole life.
"Daisuke-kun, let's get going", shouted Haru. Daisuke offered to give Haru a ride in his luxurious car not that Haru gave a damn about. They reached the police department within 20 minutes and they both went directly to the chief.
They entered the room when they heard the chief say "Come in".
"Good morning, Chief", the two juniors said in unison.
"Good morning, Inspector Kato and Inspector Kambe", greeted the chief politely, What did you need me for? Are you taking good care of Haruka?"
"Yes, sir. We are. But the place you provided is too cramped for three people to live in. So we wanted to ask for permission to let us stay in our desired choice of place!", said the elder junior.
Kambe hadn't said a word. He had to stay silent while his Senpai(senior) was talking.
"And … what place do you prefer?", asked the chief.
"I prefer my mansion. There are security guards. So we won't need to worry about Haruka's safety. My relatives also stay there. So they can keep her company while I'm...I mean, we are at work", Said Kambe, stuttering towards the end. He looked at Haru and was suddenly reminded of that damn kiss. He kept his composure and didn't let his feelings show on his face.
"But I can't let anyone else other than you two stay with her", implied the chief. Haru looked at Daisuke.
Daisuke said in a monotone, Who said I'll be staying with anyone other than Inspector Kato? The mansion is in the Kambe jurisdiction itself but it isn't the main mansion. It'll be just me, Haruka and dadd-- I mean, Kato… Inspector Kato"
Haru almost let out a giggle hearing Kambe stutter so much. It wasn't like him to stutter. The chief accepted the proposal.
They were out of the room in no time. "So you'll need to take all your important stuff from your house, Haru!", Daisuke Kambe said, Or should I tell someone to go to your house to take your things".
"No need. Cause I'll only be packing some of my clothes"
"Just clothes!?", asked a confused Daisuke.
"Yeah. It's not like I'm staying with you forever", Haru said, not meaning to be rude. Daisuke felt a sting in his heart.
"Oh yeah", smirked Daisuke and went away.
That evening Haru packed some clothes and Daisuke's driver picked him up from his house. Haru was going to stay with his Daisuke. "Will I be able to control my urges?", Thought Haru. And sat in the car. They drove to Kambe's mansion.
