She's had another appointment since the night she talked to Michael and she's at the point where she's lost her peripheral vision. She has tunnel vision now. And that's still like 75% vision so... They've been talking about looking into guide dogs or teaching her to use a white cane. They're still hopefully she won't lose all her vision but, given that she has the time to take these precautions, she's decided to learn. She'd made the first lesson for it today but, Michael called telling her to meet him and Alex at the Long farm, it was about Nora. She took the out, called and cancelled. She wasn't ready for that, it would make the possibility too real. But, given her newfound tunnel vision, she wasn't allowed to drive anymore. So, called Alex who luckily hadn't left yet and asked for a ride. When he asked why she didn't just drive herself she gave the excuse that her jeep was in the shop.

When they get to their destination they see Michael sitting on the gate entrance to the property and Alex says, "A wild Michael Guerin finally emerges from his week-long hibernation in a lab and a library." "Isobel's on a health kick. DeLuca won't speak to me. Turns out I don't have many friends." "It's like I used to tell you, I wasn't just your best friend, I was your only friend." "Mm, thanks." he tells Dani sarcastically. "I reached out to Maria, after Liz told me that Rosa spilled the beans. I got a text back saying that she's gonna keep your secrets. She just needs a little time to be with her mom right now. Nothing since." Alex says to Michael before sighing and then saying, "I can't believe this sentence is about to leave my mouth, but...do you think that Mimi DeLuca could've been..." "Please don't say 'abducted.'" Michael stops him before he gets off the gate and the climb over after him. "Taken by aliens" Dani supplies. "I think there might be an alien connection. Or not. I just want to learn everything I can." Michael admits. "I figured you didn't invite us out to the Long farm for a tea party with Wyatt."

Michael pulls out a folded piece of paper and hands it over to the two to look at. "Guy in the newspaper photo next to my mom; Roy Bronson. Foreman at the Long farm in the '40s. When every other farm was struggling, the Longs experienced record-breaking crops. Summer of '47. No one could explain it." "Okay." "Right." "Till October '48. The day after that photo ran in the paper, the farm was devastated by a massive fire. Foreman, entire staff killed. Whole place burned down." "What caused the fire?" "Well, the paper called it an act of God. Said it was a...freak storm. Bolt of lightning strikes the barn the same night that my mom's caught and locked up in Caulfield. While you were being an American hero, I was a rancher, and these people's livelihood depends on taking copious notes. I want to see if they have some record of my mom." They walk a few steps before they hear a "Howdy." as Wyatt Long greets them with a thin smile while carrying a crossbow, "Oh, I'm sorry. That's the greeting we reserve for guests. What I meant to say is..."he says before raising the bow and aiming at them,"y'all are trespassing."

"Think he realizes he can't possibly shoot all of us with that thing?" Michael whispers to his two companions. "I don't think logic is the best defense against a buzzed redneck." Dani contemplates for a second and whispers, "I could totally do it, but him, yeah, no way." "Of course you could, you are a wizard with a bow." Alex whispers back to her. "Yeah, I know." she states proudly. "Aren't there terms to your probation when it comes to weapons?" Michael questions him. "Court stipulates no firearms. The 140-psi Buck-banger's got no combustible parts. But it'll still bust a hole in your junkyard ass unless you vacate this little patch of paradise." "You're a real man y'know that? I mean any girl with her tits can use a regular bow-and-arrow but, a crossbow is definitely a man's weapon." Dani tells him sweetly while actually making fun of him and taking a step closer to him. "Yeah, I know." he replies proudly, not understanding the slight. "I mean, I don't even know if I could handle such a-" she steps closer until she's right in front of him which is when she grabs hold of the bow and twists it out of his hand and quickly spins and uses the force of that to hit him a cross the head and knocks him out. "Damn, that was-" "That was hot, Ella." "Yeah, I know I'm a badass and that all men should be worshiping at my feet. You don't got to tell me." she continues for them causing them to laugh and nod. "Yeah exactly." Alex agrees before they start to continue their trek.
