The Note

Estevan's POV

Yesterday I watched Alexandra help the pup Theodore. She was sparring with him to help him defend himself. Me and my wolf  Lucas wanted to have a family with her but we both stopped once I got to my fifth child. They all looked like her and had her adorable personality, well they just had my last name.

Lucas was just wagging his tail thinking of the same things I was. We didn't have anything to complain about. Even though he wanted more kids and so did I, but we stopped once Tony was complaining about how hungry he was. So we said goodbye to the pups and Alexandra and I took him home so he could eat and get to his mate.

Once Tony opens the door Julie jumps up and starts kissing him. Aww how cute but than I wished Alexandra's birthday came a whole lot faster. They stopped once I was in the kitchen eating frozen pizza that I warmed up.  They gave me sad looks meaning that they didn't want to make me feel lonely.

I was ok eating warmed up pizza and now getting a tub of ice cream from the freezer. So I was good because I would call this a regular Monday afternoon. I was walking off to my bedroom with my pizza and a blanket I found on the floor and ice cream.

I put the blanket around me and kept walking until I was in my bed watching a movie and passing out.

Alexandra's POV

Waking up meant starting another day I got ready really fast not noticing what I put on. I was working on paperwork with my dad until we both heard that one of our warriors mind linked us about a intruder. We both rushed to investigate.

We hurried to our border to find a wolf that smelled of the moon blossom wolf pack. He had a note to give us that said they needed assistance in the war they were fighting in. I felt really bad but we couldn't do that so we said "we can't do that we would lose a lot of our pack" said my father right beside me. "I wish we could do more but we can't fight in this battle, we could give you guys supplies to help your injured" I said trying to give him some hope.

The wolf said "thank you" than he went running off into the woods. My father looked at me proud showing that I was doing a great job. We told the warriors to get back to work and told them they were doing a great job and they should tell us if this happens again. They nodded in respect as we left.

We got back to the office finding our beta, gamma, delta, and Tony waiting for us. We told them what had happened and what to do to give them their supplies that we said we would give them. They nodded and we all stayed in the office working until Isaiah walked in.

Isaiah has been working to become alpha still. He is doing an amazing job even though that was my birth right. I didn't have a better option that could get us out of the war so I just worked on paperwork. Bruce, Xander's dad the gamma was thinking about giving Xander the position of gamma earlier than expected.

Which is good I guess because he was working with eighteen years and younger, he was in his forties. I also think the reason he wanted to retire was because of Tony's love of saying he was hungry. Which I would not blame him for if he told me that.

"Bruce is everything ok with the warriors so far on all our borders" I asked with curiosity. "Yes nothing has happened since this morning and now" he said back with as much pride as he could use. "Well that's good how is the new alpha training going for Isaiah" asked Caleb in a calm manner. "He is doing good he might be ready just in time to become alpha when he is eighteen" said Estevan. I nodded so that they could see it was true.

After that an hour had passed and Tony was hungry so we were about to leave until we got a mind link from our warriors about another intruder. We all ran to the borders again today. We called my dad to tell him that another intruder was here.

He said "he will come in a little bit and try to stall or see what the intruder wanted." We all said "yes alpha." I went up to the wolf that came here, he had a note just like the last one but it was covered in blood and he wasn't from the moon blossom pack because he had a different pack smell.

He was from moon tears wolf pack the one that didn't want me to become alpha. I read the note that he gave me and he just smirked. I was kinda creeped out but I tried my best to not let it show. I read it over and over because I was shocked to see that it was meant towards me.

The note said "we know your daughter is helping you with the pack I thought I told you to not let her do anything. if she doesn't have a mate you will give her off like every other alpha's daughter should be, and we pick who she ends up with."

I started to shake because of what this meant I would be stuck in a arranged marriage to somebody they picked. I would be like almost every other alpha daughter. They get stuck in arranged marriages for treaties, I didn't want to end up like them that's why I was happy to be alpha female because you don't have to marry someone you don't know.

I needed something to hold so I grabbed the necklace I was wearing and I looked down to see it was Estevan's necklace that he got me. I only worn this a couple of times out of five months and that was it but it helped me think to stop my self from shaking and notice that other people were waiting on what I was going to say to them.

That's when I noticed my dad show up and he took the letter out of my hands and put it into his pocket. He said thanks to the wolf without even seeing what it says and told the wolf to leave. The wolf stopped in his tracks and looked at me and said "act like a good little house wife or we would give you to one of the alpha's sons" he said it with a smirk and he laughed while he ran off. Before anyone could ask what he meant I understood completely.

I heard a growl come from someone behind my father but I didn't look behind me to see who it was. I just know my dad read the letter out loud and I started to shake again I felt my self getting weak and ready to fall until Estevan and Caleb caught me.

Tony was trying to tell Bruce that they should tell the warriors to get back to work. Well my father looked at me with hurt eyes and I knew that I would have to act as a house wife from now on, if I didn't who knows what would happen to me.

After that, dad told me I should go home and rest and that he would take care of things from here. I nodded because I couldn't do that anymore. Caleb and Estevan walked beside me to the house asking if I was ok. I said I was fine and I thought I needed to find my mate because I was scared to live a life without my mate. Honey was quite thinking of ways to find our mate but she came up with nothing.

We had to find him the night on my birthday or they could just force me to mate with one of his sons.

Estevan's POV

We have been working all day and we we're about to leave until we got a mind link from the warriors so we had to hurry to get to them. After we got there, Short story Alexandra got a note from this wolf that was smirking at her which I didn't like. She read the note twice and than started to shake. I wanted to see what happened to my mate until her dad showed up an put the note in his pocket.

The wolf from moon tears said " act like a good little house wife or we could give you to one of the alpha's sons" I growled at the last part but he ran away laughing. I heard what the note said, me and Caleb caught her just in time when we saw her slowly falling. Her dad sent us to watch over her after they talked.

During the walk we asked her if she is ok but the one thing that got my attention today was the necklace I got her. Right now I could tell she was still shaken up after what the note said.

Don't worry mate only five more days left than we could be together I said giving my self hope that she will want me.
