Ezekiel's POV

"Jessica are you ok honey" I asked Jessica who was nervous again today. "I'm ok," she said as she looked down. I started to feel her nervousness from deep inside me. "Come here" I say we'll open my arms to her.

She comes to me and I give her a hug. I kiss her temple to calm her down. "Thanks," she says, pulling away from me. "No problem" I say, smiling down at her. It's only been five days since Alexandra left.

"Are they coming back again?" Jessica whispered in my chest after she hugged me again. "Yeah" I say, hating that they are coming back. She hugged me tighter after I said that.

"Hey it's ok I am going to make sure nothing else happens to us" I say thinking of the pack. "Yeah for us and the pack" said Jessica who read my mind. "We just have to make sure they don't hurt our pack" I say. "Yeah I totally understand," she said, still nervous.

Isaiah will take over in about two years. I am kinda scared of what will happen if they attack again. He will be a new alpha and a lot of new alphas don't know about war. I just want him to be ready for when his time comes to step up.

Jessica's POV

I was nervous from everything happening now. They keep coming back to see if Alexandra returns. They try to scare our pack into telling where she went but nobody knows, not even us. Ezekiel is trying to help me calm down but I can't stop being nervous.

I am worried for my daughter, pack, and grandchild. Ezekiel is stressed more than anything because he knows she got away but now he has to worry about the pack. I am too but not as much as him since the other alpha's orders.

Just then we hear a knock on the door and me and Ezekiel pull away from each other. "Come in," said Ezekiel in a serious tone. Caleb walked through the door looking nervously which made me more nervous.

Ezekiel grabbed my hand trying to make me stop being nervous. "What happened?" asked Ezekiel, still sounding serious. "They are at the border again," said Caleb. Not again was the only thing I thought. They had to keep coming back for what.

We are telling them the truth. Alexandra and Harmony are not coming back. I pray that they don't. Me and Ezekiel walked out the pack house to the front yard. There stood the enemies glaring back at us. My breath was shakier now. Ezekiel squeezed my hand.

I felt the familiar warmth of his hand. A few sparks calmed me down. I still looked at the center to find the new beta. They had to replace the one Estevan had killed. As Luna I wanted to just rip this pack apart.

I want to tear off their flesh and make them swallow it. They took my son in law and they need to feel how skin can peel off the bone. They made my daughter run away. They needed to feel their eyes being scratched out and fed to them. I will never see my granddaughter or meet her.

I wanted to eat their heart since they broke mine. My wolf was licking her lips feeling ready to pounce and go for the beta's neck. She took over my body for a second because I wanted that to happen so bad. I felt Ezekiel hold my hand. I took back control.

I looked back at him with sad eyes. "I know," he whispered, sounding defeated. I felt tears coming down my face. He pulled me back into his arms. We waited for orders from the other pack since they surrounded us. They had more wolves than we had expected.

We wouldn't have won. They even had rogues join them. Their stench was consuming my nose. I looked at our pack. We kept the pup's hidden inside for their safety. All the mothers and children were inside. They had to be protected. Anyone who could fight was here.

Kayla was with her mate Xander protecting the side door. The whole gamma family was there. They needed to protect that side of the house. The delta family was on the other side of us. They protect the windows from the rogues. Me and Ezekiel were here.

We stood in the front of the house to speak to the leader. Isaiah was in the backyard with the rest of the guards. Everyone was ready to be under attack. We have gone through this before. It's just a drill and we have to remind everyone that. The pups were freighted and the parents were anxious. Mates were worried to see each other again safely. The pack was freighted from everything that was going on. I knew that most people would want to fight against them.

Since my mate Eziekl held me back I had no idea what to expect. I could smell the fear radiating off the people from our pack. I felt like I failed as a leader. Who was doing all of this to use. This was so unfair. Just as we waited for the alpha we all stayed silent. Nobody moved and I could tell why. We couldn't upset them. Who knows what these petty rogues have in mind.

We all stayed calm and waited for the alpha to show his face. I was done with nor knowing who was after our daughter this entire time. What kind of cruel monster does this anyway. His pack said that they would go after Kayla but that was never true. It was always Alexandra that the alpha wanted. Even after she left and we became surrounded there was no change in his mind.

This alpha has been obsessed with her. It didn't make sense why. We just knew that he wanted her back alive. Just as we waited for the alpha a tall figure walked to the center. Everyone bowed that stood around him. That's when we were shocked because it was none other than Dexter. He dated Alexandra and tried to mate with her.
He was the one who tried to sleep with her. Ezekiel chased him away with a shotgun. We all kicked him out of the pack because he was trying to mate with our daughter. Our little alpha daughter who dated this monster. When they were together he never wanted her to be alpha. When we had him over for dinners he thought of him being the greatest leader for the pack.

Yes we liked him at first but now it all makes sense. He is now alpha and he wants Alexandra back by his side. Instead he is alpha and she is his house wife. I couldn't believe it at all. We let this guy terrorize us. I growled at him as Ezekial was ready to rip his head off. "Now let's not make things worse just tell me where your daughter is," he said, sounding smug.

"Never" I said as I growled, just then Dexter slapped me across the face. Ezekiel was about to attack him but he was caught off guard when he was punched in the nose. I felt that Dexter broke my husband's nose. My mate had blood dripping down his face. Ruby red blood was sliding down his chin. I knew that Ezekial was able to taste it. We both stood tall and still.

We told everyone to stand down. Apparently this was his plan all along. He made us look weak. We are just one wolf pack out of many and we had no way of defeating him. We only could protect Alexandra and our grandchild. We were here hopelessly with no way out. This was our last stand. "Good luck Alexandra" I thought to myself and my wolf.
