Birthday

Alexandra's POV

I woke up when my family screamed happy birthday. I was already smiling because later today I could find my mate. Well that's if he is in our pack. I said "thank you guys" and they walked off to get everything ready for me.

I took a shower and straightened my hair. Once I did that I did my makeup but I only did it natural so I won't have to worry about it. I changed into a white dress that went up to my thighs. Once I was done I went down to eat lunch I skipped breakfast because of the time I took taking a three hour shower.

Once we ate lunch I left to go with Kayla to the store, because they don't want me to see what they did for my birthday. I was ok with that so we went to the mall. we got us clothes and we just sat around and talked. Some human boys just whistled at us and than we left feeling like we didn't want to talk to them.

Once we left the mall we both got in Caleb's car since he picked us up. The car ride went really well because we just talked about what happened today and he just laughed. Probably knowing Kayla wanted to stay longer but she wanted to leave once those boys showed up.

She doesn't want nobody other than her mate. It's funny watching a lot of guys try to take a shot at her and she gives them a side hug or a hand shake. I do feel bad for the guys but it's her life so she does what she wants with it.

Once we got home Caleb put our clothes inside well Kayla and me took a picture. They were still trying to distract me from going in the backyard even though I know the whole pack is there. I could smell them so it really wasn't a surprise.

Once we got to the backyard everyone yelled happy birthday. I was smiling like crazy because they all loved to be like my family. Which they were I almost knew everyone's name but it is really hard to keep track.

Once they said that everyone was having a great time. "Kayla come on let's play with the pups until it's seven" I said well trying to walk towards them. "Ok just wait up" she said that well trying to run to me. "Hey guys what game are you playing" I said well I got to them.

"We are playing hide and seek tag, would you like to play with us". She has straight brown hair and light brown eyes with white skin. "I would love to Catalina" and I took her hand well we tried to see who the tagger is.

I had to take my sandals off because I didn't want them to break. A lot of us were running barefoot so we could run faster and hide in pretty good spots. After a long time me and Kayla stopped playing to hangout with kids our age. We said goodbye to the pups and went to them.

We started talking and joking around well other girls we're talking about drama. The other boys were talking about failing which classes they had and that they needed to copy someone's work. Even though are teachers were at the party with us. I don't think they were that smart because they were across from us talking about their families.

I looked behind me and saw Xander holding a handful of whip cream. He looked at me and mind linked me telling me that I should be quiet. I said "ok just remember if she gets mad your dealing with it" he said "ok I got this don't worry." I cut the mind link between us.

That's when I looked and saw Xander rub the whip cream in Kayla's face. We all started laughing when she tried to catch him. That's when I saw Tessa grab whip cream and say "payback time birthday girl." I started running as fast as I can well the girls and guys came after me.

We did this for about an hour and I could tell I won because I had no whip cream on me. Everyone else had so much on them it was funny. Me I'm kinda competitive and love to win. Isaiah said "oh my god I have a lot in my hair". "What are you talking about I can't even see" said Cain trying to move the whip cream out of his eyes.
