Here is the next chapter! I debated how this one was going to go, but I hope you all like it! Also, more good news! I have commissioned a few pieces of art fro this story

Here is the next chapter! I debated how this one was going to go, but I hope you all like it! Also, more good news! I have commissioned a few pieces of art fro this story. I will upload them to a Deviantart account later on. But on my profile, I have a few already linked. Please check them out and tell me what you all think. Especially the new hero form for Chloe!

Somehow been asking if there will be lemon scenes. yeah, down the line when they are actually together, but now I am just trying to build the romance and love they had for one another. Gotta have a confession scene first!

Enjoy!

An elderly man with long spiky white hair, red lines running down his wrinkly face, and a red kimono slowly made his way up a mountain he was all too familiar with. The tapping of his cane was really the only sound he made until he reached his destination, the summit so that he could look at the village he lived in and was bathed in the ethereal glow of twilight.

Konoha was still his home after all these years of traveling as a spy for this village. However, that all came to an end in the last war when he nearly died yet again. He was thankful that his old teammate was a medical ninja and was the best one around. But now, he was the last of his teammate that was alive.

Years of drinking heavily had finally caught up to Tsunade and just before she died, she passed on the title of Hokage to the brat that was in office now. Kami he missed them. Hell, even Orochimaru when he was once a good guy. Jiriaya smiled sadly at his village. This place was wonderful now that he stayed in it.

There really was no need for a spy master these days. The world was peaceful with everyone not at each other's throats anymore and they were all allies. Of course, they were a small continent compared to the stories of the seamen, but that was fine. They would cross that road when they got there.

Now...now was just peace, especially in the now thriving metropolis of Konoha.

A tired smile crossed Jiriaya's face. How long had it been now? He stopped keeping track of the years, but in reality, he was nearly 80 years old and he never really chose a successor for the next toad sage. He thought it was going to be his last student, Naruto, but then he was gone. He was happy the kid was alive somewhere else, but he missed the kid. He probably had his own family by this point. "I hop-" was all he said before he poofed from his spot on the Hokage Mountain to that of the home of the Toad Clan summons.

"-e he is happy." He said finally got out before looking around his surroundings. The tropical land of the toads was the same as it ever was, but there was more commotion than usual.

"Thinking about the boy?" An elderly female voiced asked. Old man Jiriaya looked down to see a slightly older Shima. This old toad was one of toad elders, just like her husband who was sitting next to her.
