I Fell For Him

Fairytale Finale

I lay in bed, thinking about Jace. Is he okay? Is he in danger? How in hell am I supposed to save him?

I need to think of something and I need to think of it fast. I hope Jace isn't thinking of something stupid that'll end up getting us killed. I just need to find a way to somehow convince the devil not to go through with killing Jace. Which sounds pretty stupid since he's the devil.

Maybe I can somehow fool him. He may be immortal but he isn't the smartest person in the universe.

Chico's weakest spot is his love for me. And as cruel as it sounds, I think my best idea will have to be using his love for me against him.

"Okay," I say to myself. "I can do this."

Without much thought, I jump up from the bed and run to the library. I can't do this alone, I'll need someones help. And who other than my best friend Amanda.

I brust into the library and yell, "Amanda!" The liabrarian looks at me with a frown on her face. Her expression secretly telling me to shut the fuck up. "Sorry," I whisper.

"Amanda!" I whisper-yell. Her head pops out from one of the shelves and looks at me, worried. "Yeah? what's wrong?"

I jerk back a bit at her casual reply but either way I ask her. "I need you're help."

A smirk forms onto her face and I'm sure she can't wait to cause some mischief.

This is probably going to be one of the stupidest thing I'll ever do.

I knock on Chicos door and as If he knows it's me, the door opens and there stands Chico. Him and all his evil glory.

"Hannah," he breathes as if expecting me. "You're here?"

Time to see if i'm really good at acting.

I sigh dramatically sigh and his expression quickly changes from confused to worried. "Oh my god, come in, are you okay my love?" I inwardly cringe at the my love. I enter his room and take a seat on his bed.

"Jace and I... we um got into a fight. I couldn't think of anyone else except you to go to for comfort." I say flirtingy at him, batting my eyelashes and all.

Chico wraps an arm around my shoulders and I try my best not flinch and run away. I can do this. For Jace. I just hope Chico doesn't see through my act. How would he since he's so blinded by love?

"You should leave him. He's not worth it. I am," Chico says, getting up all into my space. I almost want to push him off.

"Yeah, I've been thinking of leaving him. I've got a change of heart." I look up into his eyes and he stares back at me.

His eyes were filled with love while mine were filled with disgust. He's lied to me and now he won't let me have my happy ending.

"I think the reason I've been fighting with Jace is because... my heart beats for you." I can't be alive I just said that.

I just really hope Amanda has warned Jace about what I'm doing. If he ever found out...

"Are you saying... you love me?" He leans in and lightly grabs a hold of my chin, lifting my chin up.

Oh shit, is he about to kiss me?

Just as his lips brush against mine, I jump up from the bed. He stares at me standing in front if him, he looks angry.

My voice stutters as I try to get my next words out. "I-i have one problem though." He raises a brow at me. "What's wrong Hannah?"

"Since I'm going to break up with Jace to be with you, I need you to do one thing..."
