After Amanda left for calculus class , I stayed all alone thinking about the things I just found out . It was too much to take all at once . I need to confront him before I put more doubts in my head , only he can give me the answers I want .

"So you know now " I heard a familiar voice behind me . I turned around to see who it was and I knew who it was , Jace .

" Know ? What ? " I played dumb .

"You know the vampire thing you were just gossiping about and sneaking into my files with your friend " he sneered at me .

" How did you- " I was shocked and speechless at his remarks . How did he find out ? Was he stalking me all the the time ?

" I knew you wouldn't back off , you have always been so stubborn " he looked into my eyes with a victorious look on his face .

" Always ?" I asked him confused , what does he mean by always ?

He knelt down on his knees in front of me where I was sitting and grabbed my hand and suddenly his dark expression changed to a soft one , sad one .

" Hannah , it's not safe . Why are you putting both of us in trouble ? I am supposed to protect you " he said desperately.

" You are not protecting me by keeping things from me " I took my hand out of his hold . He is really getting on my nerves now .

"Alright , what do you want to know ? " he asks with a defeated look on his face and he looks down at the rocks while saying that .

" Truth " I tell him simply .

" Promise me then , you will never leave me after knowing everything " he pleaded grabbing my hand once again .

"Till you tell me everything honestly , I won't leave you . I promise . " I assured him .

"Let's start from the very beginning of a demon shall we ? " he said with guilt in his voice .

" My eyes change colour , I look young always but sometimes I behave like I am from some different time , I am cold . I am thirsty , demonic and I have something you are not ready to see yet " His eyes darkened while he spoke .

"What are you ? " I trembled.

The next thing is saw was a bright glow , enough to make anyone blind and ....

Wings .

Beautiful wings , white and huge with gold at it's tips . Magnificent...

" You are an angel ?" I asked him with awe .

He gave me a bitter laugh and said " Here comes a twist now , I was an angel "

" Then what are you now ? " I asked him stepping back from him .

" Half angelic demon and half vampire . The first one to be cursed like this on earth since I fell here " he looked down , his wings acting exactly with his mood if that makes sense ...

I stepped towards him , daring to touch his wings and I blurted out finally " And I am in love with this angel . "

" I am cursed Hannah , cursed as a vampire , I can never come close to you or stay with you or I'll harm you " he cupped my face in his hands and looked at me with a look which meant save me from this .

" Then let's break this curse " I pecked his cheek .

" I have waited for you , for so so long " he told me back .
