It's been a week since everything happened. I lost my memory and Shinobu, the lady who has been taking care of me, said it was unlikely I would get my memory back soon.

It's been hard to move around. The wound in my stomach area is healing at a fast pace, thankfully.

I found out who the boys were the visited me. The oldest is Jigoro Kuwajima, his 'grandson' Zenitsu Agatsuma. Zenitsu is my fiancé, or so I've been told. I don't know why I would chose to marry a crybaby.

The last boy is my younger brother, Rin L/N.

None of them have visited me since the day I awoke. I've been told they are all training hard.

My stay here has been good except for that fact I have no idea who I am or why I am so wounded. The little girls that make sure I'm well fed and clean are very kind and patient with me. My favorite is Aoi, she looks like she's 16 or older, she's very fun. I enjoy her company even when its short.

"Y/N, are you awake?" I heard a voice near the door.

Speak of the devil.

"Oh Aoi, yes I'm awake." I beckoned her over to me.

She walked towards my bed and said to me "can you walk?"

I was surprised, I've only been recovering for a small amount of time and they expect me to walk? Are they going to kick me out?

"I mean.. yeah, but it's very painful. I have to clutch my stomach area.." I was about to ask her why but she cut me off.

"Good, someone is waiting for you in Shinobu's office. Someone very important." She quickly threw the covers off me and helped me up.

As soon as I stood up I felt a giant pain where my main wound is.

"Ah.." I gasped.

"It shouldn't bother you that much.. have you been taking your medicine?" She took my arm and wrapped it around her shoulder's for support.

"No. I don't like the way it taste in my mouth or the way it feels.." Aoi cut me off once again.

"Y/N, if you want to get better you need to take your medicine!" She scolded.

I felt like a sad puppy, so I didn't argue back with her.

I wouldn't have argued back either way though, Aoi can be scary.

We slowly made our way to Shinobu's office, which is down the hall so it isn't that far.

Aoi, knocked once, then twice and the door opened. When it opened there were a set of twins standing at the door. They look so alike that I couldn't spot a difference between the two.

Through the door I saw a man that looked young but at the same time very old. I can't see his face.

"Aoi, Mena, you can come in now." I heard a familiar soft voice say. We walked in together and Aoi helped me sit down in a chair next to Shinobu, immediately after that she left without a word.

Once we heard the door shut, Shinobu almost instantly introduced me.

"I apologize for suddenly calling for you here, but Oyakata-sama came all the way here to see you." She referred to the man I saw when I came in. I decided to take a look at him, maybe I can see his face.

When I looked at him, he was looking back directly at me. My eyes scanned over his face, his most noticeable feature is this pinkish-purplish scar that covers all of his upper face. Gruesome. His eyelashes are white while rest of his hair is black. His eyes have no color, as if he were blind.

He hasn't even blinked, can he even tell I'm staring at his as if he were an angel that had just been banished from the heavens?

"Hello, child." He spoke out, to me I presume.

His voice was completely different than what I imagined, it was angelic and I suddenly felt at ease. My body relaxed and I suddenly let out a giant sigh that I didn't even know I had.

"Hello.. Oyakata-sama" I don't know his real name and if Shinobu calls him Oyakata-sama, then I guess I will too.

"Can you guess why I came here to visit you?" He spoke softly.

How am I supposed to know? He has the voice perfect for a therapist, perhaps he came here to help me. But with what? I don't remember anything, so it's not like I have trauma.

"Therapy?" I paused for a second before continuing "I don't need therapy, thank you though."

The room went silent. I guess I was wrong.

I looked at the man's face and he had a small smile plastered on his face. If the moon could smile, that's how I would describe Oyakata-sama's smile.

"Not quite—" he let out a soft laugh "I came here to ask you to join us in the Demon Slayer Corp." he finished.

I remember my brother and fiancé saying they were training to join this corporation, and that Shinobu and Aoi work for the corporation as well. It must pay well if most everyone I know wants or does work here.

"Sure! When can I start?" I heard a cough come from next to me. "Shinobu? Are you okay?" I asked her.

"It's nothing, Y/N. It is just that you didn't even give it much thought." She said and regained her composure.

"I did. Everyone I know works or wants to work for Oyakata-sama, so I guess the pay must be good huh?" I put a proud smile on my face.

"Well—" Oyakata-sama spoke up. "Not entirely, we will provide you with a free place to stay and train until you are ready to attempt Final Selection.."

This sounds like I can live an easy life, why are they trying to keep convince me after I said yes?

"I mean it. I want to join."

"That's great— I can set you with a teacher as soon as your stomach is healed."

I nodded in response.

Oops he's blind.

"That sound's great. Thank you for giving me this chance, Oyakata-sama."
