After Oyakata-sama left I retired back to my room, closely followed by Aoi with a tray of medicine. Apparently she wanted to make sure I take my medicine but I suspect she just wants to know what we talked about in Shinobu's office.

As soon as we both entered the room I'm staying in; I heard the door shut. My suspicions were right.

She stared at me like she was studying every feature on my body.

"So? Do you want to know or not?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Of course I do!" She quickly put the tray with my medicine down and took a seat next to me.

I giggled at how she moved so quickly and she gave me a playful hit on the head in return.

I told her everything that happened and made sure not to leave a single detail out.

"Do you know who he's assigning you to?" She questioned me.

"Not yet—" Aoi looked disappointed by my answer. "—but I think Oyakata-sama tell me soon." I stated and she seemed a little less disappointed by that answer.

"Well I imagine we won't have to wait long, to me it sounds like he already has an idea of who he wants to assign you to." she said as she picked up my medicine tray and brought it over to me. I must've made a face of disgust because she stared at me before letting out a small chuckle— "don't worry, the taste won't last long if you drink it quickly."

I let out a small sigh and picked up the small cup that held a purplish color liquid inside and drank it as fast as possible.

Even though I drank it fast it still tasted like cat pee.

Aoi handed me a small glass of water and told me she's going to take care of some other patients now. I sent her a small wave and decided to try and take a small nap.

I couldn't fall asleep.

How come when I want to sleep I can't, and when I don't want to sleep I do?

I decided I should take a walk around the estate to tire myself down and maybe numb the pain in my abdomen as well.

I slowly got out of my bed then descended the stairs that led to the main floor level.

It didn't take me long to notice there was a lot of commotion coming from Shinobu's office.

I walked by her door and listened in a little bit, I heard Aoi's voice and she sounded surprised.

"The **** P***ar?" she said, her voice was muffled by the door so I couldn't understand what she had said.

I decided to stop listening in and continue my walk around the estate and maybe ask Shinobu or Aoi about it later.

But, before I could walk away I heard the door open. I spun around and was face-to-face with some girl I've never seen before, she had long black hair with a pale turquoise color at the bottom. Her eyes were beautiful, they remind me of the sky.

I think I was staring at her for too long because she stopped and looked me in the eye and gave me a look of distaste.

damn that hurt

A few seconds later I heard Aoi quickly leave Shinobu's office "wait Muichiro-sama!" When she saw us she came to an immediate stop.

"Muichiro-sama, you can't leave yet; you need proper care or you might start bleeding again." Aoi continued.

Sama? Is he important like Shinobu and Oyakata-sama?

"It's fine, you needn't worry. I can bandage myself up." Muichiro assured her.

Her voice sounded so masculine, maybe she isn't a she after all?

"Okay, and what about Y/N? Will you come back for her?" I tensed up at my name. Shinobu has joined us in the hallway. She walked up to me and put her hands on my shoulders.

"Is this the girl Oyakata-sama was telling me about? She seems no younger than I and seems quite weak and useless. Why would he want me to waste my time on her?"

I guess he's going to be my teacher?

"She's in the same boat as you, she lost her memory and bravely fought a demon until she was near death's door. I think Oyakata-sama thinks you two will become close." She said and patted me on my shoulders.

Muichiro stayed quiet, eyeing me up and down. I couldn't help but feel nervous.

"I'll come back for her in a week. In a week's time I expect your wound to be healed." He narrowed his eyes at me and I quickly nodded in response.

How the hell am I supposed to be better in a week?
