Walking out of the theater I shielded my eyes as they adjusted to the light. Replying to mystery businessman's claim as Othello being one of Shakespeare's best plays I responded, "Hamlet however is still my favorite. I love how everyone thinks Hamlet was pretending to be crazy right until the end but I can't help but think maybe all of the faking-" chuckling at me I stopped my rant. "What?" I asked confused by what was funny.
"Why do I get the impression you were a nerd when you were in highschool?"
Stopping in front of him I crossed my arms and arched a brow, "Were? I still am. Still a huge fan of Star Trek, I wish I was back home playing D&D with my best friends-" holding a hand up he cracked up again.
"Gosh you're definitely a nerd."
Giggling a bit to myself I looked at him in those greenish blue eyes, "You remind me of my best friends... they always teased me. Especially my best friend who were a bigger brother to me."
He nodded rubbing his chin, "Do you know where they are?" looking up at the sky I nodded with a smile.
Sighing, "Yeah, they're doing real good. Everything they've ever wanted and more."
Shifting his weight to his left leg he crossed his arms, "Tell me about them."
Turning on my heel I linked my fingers behind my back, "Over lunch, I'm starving."
"Okay ms." he chuckled. "What do you want to eat?" he asked jingling the car keys in my face.
Thinking to myself I bit my lip.
"What about pizza?" I raised a brow
"Pizza it is."

Munching away on the slice of cheese pizza Mystery Businessman watched me with a slight smile."What?" I asked with a full mouth.
"Well? Your friends?" he asked.
Raising my brows I quickly swallowed, "Right, right." "Well, we would eat pizza sometimes after school but mostly we would go to this barbecue restaurant, Famous Daves." he took a slice and bit into it nodding. "Sounds southern. Where're you from?" he asked.
"Texas."
He sighed to himself before mocking, "All my exes live in Texas." with a heavy southern drawl. I rolled my eyes making him laugh harder. "I thought I heard some kind of southern accent buried somewhere in that voice of yours. But go on, keep telling me about them." he nodded.
"Well, my 'brother', " I finger quoted. "he was actually from Louisiana but moved to Texas. Really tall and intimidating. Hardened attitude but a softie for his girlfriend." I rolled my eyes before laughing.
"Then there's his girlfriend of course, very girlie and very sweet. I loved how she always managed to bring the good out of him. She gave the best advice, made me step out of my comfort zone, and she gave me fashion tips." I sighed.
Mystery Businessman stirred his straw in his cup. He never broke eye contact with me which I found nice. He was actually listening to me.
"Then there's the brother of my... bestest friend." I lingered. I sighed, "He was really sweet. He was bigger than me and I'd always get cold so he'd give me his jackets to wear and I'd always steal them." I laughed thinking back on all the times.
"He's such a good drummer, his friend who plays bass was amazing too. He had so much energy in him, what a goofball." I giggled thinking about Rex.
"Then... there's... the bestest friend." I lingered.
"Are we getting touchy now?" Mystery Businessman asked. I nodded looking down at the table.
"He... he shines so bright. I've never ever met someone so charismatic and headstrong as him." my voice wavered. "He was so fun and just knows how to bring the best out of everyone. No one is ever the same once he walks into their lives, he's the best thing to ever happen to me and Spock I hope I never forget him."
