"Man, I'm beat." I sighed pulling the bandana from my head.

Ronnie groaned before laying on the plastic tarp on the floor.

"I think the paint fumes are making me high, I'm woozy." Adonis said trying to open the window. Gemini laughed, "I think we all deserve a nice lunch break."

Ronnie sat up before looking around the room.

"When we get our beds you can't come on my side Adonis." Ronnie pointed. "Pink equals me, blue equals you." she said pointing to each color. Adonis mocked her before rolling her eyes, "I hope you two don't fight this much when we're all settled in." I raised my brow.

"It'll be Ronnie's fault if we do." Adonis rolled her eyes.

"Is that bickering I hear?" a voice I was happy to hear asked. The sound of bags rustling loudly made Ronnie and Adonis run as they pushed at each other in the door way.

Gemini laughed and turned to me, "They make the perfect siblings." I agreed before we walked to the kitchen and found Ezekiel handing Ronnie and Adonis deli sandwich's.

"Um... go wash your hands?" I knitted my brows. Ronnie and Adonis looked at me before they began racing down the hall to the bathroom.

"Stop running!" Gemini shouted as they passed her laughing.

Ezekiel chuckled before hugging Gemini and Me.

"You guys must've finished painting their rooms?" he asked. Gemini and I both nodded. "Thank you so much Ezekiel for the apartment really. Who knows how long it would've took me to get us here." I raised my brows. He nodded before rubbing his hands together, "It's no problem, and I'm glad that Ronnie is going back to school." he smiled.

Gemini nodded, "Yeah, it's not too far from here so she's just gonna catch the bus and everything. Cami and I toured the school and everything and it seems nice." Ezekiel nodded and the girls walked down the hall quietly.

They took their sandwiches and sat at the small table.

"Well, the beds should be here in maybe an hour so go ahead and eat." Ezekiel smiled. Gemini and I walked to the bathroom washing our hands.

"Ezekiel is a good guy, I'm starting to think he really has a thing for you." Gemini nudged. I shook my head no drying my hands on the paper towels.

"He's married, I'm not interfering." I waved my hands. Gemini scoffed, "You guys fucked, two times!" she shouted holding up her fingers. I rubbed my forehead, "Just for the pleasure, not the emotional connection." I clarified. "Nah, he likes you. Looks like this is unrequited." she arched her brow.

"It's nothing that's what." I replied beginning to walk around her before she stopped me and held my arms, "No man, married at that, helps a prostitute by giving her a job and buying her family a fucking apartment in Inglewood, enrolling one of them in a nice school, and buying her furniture with no feelings."

I stared at her before looking up at the ceiling, "I see your point and you've made your claim but no." I pointed. She rolled her eyes before letting me go, "Still holding onto Darrell."

Wanting to ignore that I continued walking to the kitchen.

"And you like tomatoes right? Or is that Gemi?" Ezekiel asked.

"Gemi." I laughed. He handed me a sandwich with no tomatoes leaving me to lean against the counter and eat.

"Come on Zeke, I'm starving." Gemini groaned patting her stomach. He laughed before tossing her the sandwich. She unwrapped it and began eating, "What did you have to eat?" I asked looking over Ezekiel. He just rolled his sleeves up and waved me off, "I already ate before coming here." I nodded.
