Deku Pov

I make my way back to the stands to be greeted by Yuyu, Nejire, Mirio, and Eri all together.

"Hey guys, I'm back!" I say with a grin

"Hey Izuku, what'd All Might want to talk to you about?" Mirio says, already knowing what he wanted to talk about

"Oh! he just wanted to warn me about my quirk damaging me, the usual" I say, trying not to come up with some bullshit excuse like All Might playing Halo (This was actually the original excuse :/)

"Gotcha" Yuyu says

"Hey Izu-kun......" Nejire says with a flirtatious grin, leaning in to kiss me, only to be stopped by Eri. 

WHO FUCKIN DROPKICKS HER FROM ACROSS THE STANDS!

"ERI!" I say, grabbing her to make sure she doesn't dropkick anyone else. She struggles in my grasp, only a few seconds later she relents, a frown on her face.

"You can't just dropkick people who make you mad!"  I say 

"But she was about to kiss you!" she says as if it's perfectly justified

"Nah, It's fine" Nejire says, getting back on her feet

"Don't worry 'bout it, I told her I wouldn't try anything" Nejire says with a ditzy smile

"Ok" I say

"WOULD SHOTO TODOROKI AND IZUKU MIDORIYA PLEASE COME TO THE STADIUM!" Present Mic screams out

"Well guys, I'm gonna head down" I say with a smile

" 'Kay" Replies Mirio

"Kick his butt izu!" Nejire says enthusiastically, i start to head down, until I notice that Eri's still pouting, and I give her a quick hug

"Love 'ya Eri" I say, and I can literally feel her smiling

"Love you too Aniki!" She says with a smile, and with Eri feeling better, I head down, only to be stopped by the flaming shit comet known as Endeavor.

"Hello, Young Man, I need to talk to you" He says with a glare, and I return the favor.

"Do you need money for a new asshole? You use the one on your face so much considering all the shit you say" I say, trying to get him angry, and surprise surprise, it works.

"WHAT WAS THAT YOU LITTLE SHIT?!" he says, 

"Let me get one thing clear you overcooked piece of shit" I say coldly " I'm not All Might, and Todoroki isn't you, or your creation." I say, heading out to the arena, seeing a stoic Todoroki already there

"AND ON ONE SIDE OF THE ARENA, WE HAVE THE CHILLY AND SPICY BRAWLER, SHOTO TODOROKI!!!"

immediately, Todoroki sends ice at me, and i just barely dodge it with a OFA powered flick, unfortunately breaking my finger in the process. Thankfully, it sends Todoroki back enough to give me time to prepare full cowling, and I rush at him, trying to get a hit in. But he manages to send another barrage of ice at me, but not before I notice something

he could use his fire side to balance it out, but he doesn't because of Endeavor

3rd person

"Gettin' a little frosty, Todoroki?" Izuku says with a smirk, he knows unless he uses his fire, he's done for

Exactly, you'll win easily kid, so shut the fuck up

"SHUT UP!" Todorki says, firing off a wave of ice in the process

Wow, I never thought I'd agree with Christmas light boy over there

"Nah! I'm good!" He says with a smirk, Izuku though back to his childhood, he would have killed for even half the power todoroki had, yet here he was half-assing it. It was like staring at your exact opposite of who you were, a loving person, an emotionless one, a quirkless one who prayed for a quirk his whole life, and a gifted, who hated half of his.

Izuku felt anger course through him once more, how dare todoroki take for granted what everyone wanted, a powerful quirk, and he felt anger rising to his voice once more

"YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE ABOUT YOU, SHOTO TODOROKI?!"

Everyone was taken back, to them, todoroki had done nothing, but only a handful knew why Izuku was angry, Mirio, Nejire, Yoshimura Yagi, and Nana Shimura

Mirio had to grow up faster than he would have liked, he had to take care of his little brother, he wasn't blind to the hate the mint-haired Midoriya recieved from society, to Izuku, Todoroki was spitting in the face of all of those wrong by quirks

Nejire had only been dating for a little bit, but it was obvious to him what he had been through, through the cheeky smiles and wry jokes, she could she what he had been through, if she looked  closely, she could easily see the hurt in his eyes, and that is why she knew why he was angry, to him, he was looking straight in the face of quirk discrimation itself, and he would not back down

To Toshinori, he saw what Midoriya-Shounen saw, he had gone through almost the exact same thing, the same discrimination, the same hate, and the same hope when Toshinori was handed a lifeline by his mentor, Nana Shimura, he knew what was going through Midoriya's head

For Nana, it was a bit different, she didn't see the pain in Izuku's eyes, she saw it firsthand, she could see all his memories like a stack of movies next to a projector, each one more brutal than the last, she saw the the broken, crying child clicking repeat on All Might's Debut, she saw the exhausted child, beating and abused by his so-called best friend, she saw the shy, insecure teenager that kept getting happier thanks to his older brother, but she also saw the same person crying from getting his dreams crushed, and now, she was looking through the eyes of a determined man, supported by his family and the ones he loved, and he would not lose.
