"Is this the moment when you cut me into parts and throw me into a flowing river?"
"Good guess." I stopped my feet from moving any further, making him laugh. "Gee, Bella. I'm just kidding! Come on, I won't kill such a beauty."
Cue red cheeks.
"Kidding. Was just trying to see that red cheeks of yours." If I don't have blindfold on my eyes I would slap that smirk, which I believe was there, out of his face but then he laughed harder at my pout and kissed my cheek. "Kidding, babe." He led me further and eventually stopped.
The thing is I had no idea where we were. I didn't feel any kind of branches or stuff to guess we were in some kind of forest and I was so sure it wasn't sand under me so that it wasn't beach. One thing I knew was that from the blowing wind around me, we were outside at eight in the evening. Good thing I had my coat with me.
"Are we there now?" I asked feeling anxious since I couldn't feel his presence anywhere around me.
"Yes. One second." I heard two mumbling voices from the distance and I knew one of them was Caspar although I had no idea who the other person was.
After a few minutes of waiting, they finally stopped talking and someone approached me then untied my blindfold slowly. "Ready?" Caspar asked from behind me.
I nodded my head eagerly and sighed once I felt the blindfold left my eyes.
"Now, open your eyes." Caspar ordered. I, then, opened my eyes slowly and the sight in front of me was pretty shocking.
"Is it even open now?" I asked while making my way slowly to the entrance of YouTube Space.
"Perks of being a youtuber, eh?" He chuckled from behind me. This is so cool. "You gotta be quiet though."
"Perks of being a youtuber, eh?" I mocked him and he chuckled before falling into step next to me. "Show me around?" I turn to ask him and he grinned widely at me.
"My pleasure, princess." He offered me his hand and I gladly took it.
Best date ever.
...
"Your drink, m'lady." I chuckled and thanked him for the hot tea that he made me from the mini kitchen.
We were then seated comfortably on the sofa in the "green room" or that's what he told me. He had been giving me a tour through all the rooms there are and we even recorded a silly video on the magical green screen and he showed me how to edit it, changing the background into some kind of war area. I have no idea why.
All in all, it was enjoyable.
He then lay his head on my shoulder, sighing.
"Did you like the date?" I looked down at him and nodded my head yes. Well, duh. It was down the best date I've ever had. Not like I've had much but yeah.
"Why did you take me here?" I asked him out of curiosity. He then grinned and sat back up.
He cleared his throat and took my hands. Okay...what's going on here?
"I just thought that," he started slowly, "if we're going to do this relationship, then I figured you'll have to meet my family. And this, YouTube, is a big part of it besides my real family." He smiled brightly at me and hell, it was contagious so that I smiled back at him just as brightly. "So now, you've met my family." I chuckled and pecked his lips quickly although before I could pull myself away, he held my head gently and kissed me deeper.
"I love you so much, Miss Mears." He whispered against my lips, making me smile even brighter if that's even possible.
"I love you too, Mr. Lee." His eyes widened all of the sudden and he moved back to see my face.
"You...what?" So, yeah, my fault there. It had been pretty much a week since Caspar told me those three words. He had been trying to make me say those words but he gave up after the forth day. And tonight, the words just came out of my mouth naturally as if I'd been saying it to him every night before sleep.
Well, maybe, from now on I will.
"I love you, Caspar Richard Lee."
...
"See you tomorrow?" Caspar asked once I opened the door to my flat. I tried to convince him that I'd be okay going up by myself but he insisted that he didn't want to take risk and made sure himself that I'd make it back safely.
"Maybe. I have class tomorrow." He pouted adorably and I chuckled at it. "We'll see what I can do, okay?"
He smiled and pecked my lips quickly. "Night, Bella. I love you."
"I love you too, Caspar." I replied, smiling.
"Night, mate!" He shouted to the person somewhere behind me. I furrowed my eyebrows and turned around to find my lifesaver sitting by the couch. He nodded his head and Caspar then soon left after giving my cheek a quick kiss.
I sighed and closed the door behind me, making sure to lock it afterward. After I'm sure it was securely locked, I made my way to my room. I was curious as to why Joe was wide awake but I was far too tired to interrogate him."Night, Joe." I said between yawn.
However, Joe didn't think it was a smooth move.
"What time is it?" He asked through gritted teeth that sent shiver through all my body.
"Um...eleven?" I informed him unsure.
"Eleven forty, Bella. It's eleven forty now." I raised my eyebrows still wasn't sure where that was going. "Do you realise how late it is? It's almost midnight!" He said raising his voice. Whoa, where was that from?
"Okay, wow. I'm still not sure why you're so mad about it though? Because last time I checked, I'm legal."
He ran his hands over his face in frustration. Why, I'm sorry...? "Bella, it's late! Who knew what people would do out there in time like this? Hell, who knew what Caspar would do?"
"Oh, let me get this straight. You still don't trust Caspar and you still don't want me to be with him?" I asked, starting to raise my voice because he did so. "You want me to break up with him because he, my boyfriend, takes me home late at night?"
"Did you even check your phone? I tried to call you like twenty times but you didn't even care enough to pick up and let me know that you're okay!"
"Why do you care?"
"Because! I'm supposed to be your lifesaver, Bella! Your parents trusted me on this! I can't let them down!"
I stopped for a moment, trying to absorb his words in. "Them...?" I asked at a loss. What did he mean by my parents?
His eyes widened for a moment but he soon covered it. Too late though. "What? Him. I said him. What do you mean them?"
"No, you said them."
"No, I said him." I raised my eyebrow as if mocking his lying ability. "Anyway, go to sleep. We'll talk about this tomorrow."
After saying a quick "you said them", I left to my room and got ready for bed.
I knew he said them. He did, right?
